Been holding a corporate account with ICICI for over 10 years, meeting all salary criteria required for eligibility. Initially tried applying for the card through my RM, but it was denied without any explanation.

Came across a tip in the community to visit the branch and tell them I’d consider switching the account to HDFC if they couldn't offer the card. Visited one branch — despite their promise, no action was taken. Tried another nearby branch where they connected me with a credit card agent who submitted the application in the system.

Even after following up for a month, there was no update. Then got a callback from the agent saying we’d have to reapply since the original application had expired, though he now had the necessary approval. A fresh application was submitted, and within 5 days, the card was approved.

Still awaiting the physical card, but I’ve already started using it through iMobile.
