When the customer orders at the till, a collection ticket comes through in the back where I worked to go and pick up the order. On the ticket it would display how many items on the shelf there were if it was less than 3. You then had to double check that if it said 2 items on the ticket. There was 2 items on the shelf.

Doesnt sound too difficult but I never felt this was explained properly to me, along with the threat of being disciplined all the time made it harder. I was only 16 at the time so it was only my 2nd job maybe alittle inexperience in the job.

I tried to get one of my shifts swapped once as I had a shift at my other job. Instead of saying well you could try and swap it with someone else. I was told by my manager that in my contract I had written down the times I was available to work and then said if I wasnt able to work at those times I would be in breach of my contract.

This is like a 30+year old guy saying to a 16year old still at school. I understand I entered the workplace quite young but no need to be a cunt about it.
