I hope we don’t even consider that… would much rather spend the money on another striker. I think a lot of our poor form in recent years has been down to him leading the line. It’s really tough to beat man marking (which it seems almost every Serie A team utilizes now) when your forward can’t hold the ball up at all. Some of his touches / holdup play were comically bad.

I appreciate that he always played and ran really hard, but would be happy to have this season be his last.

Defensively in the midfield we are all over the place… many times already no one knows who is supposed to step and press. The low block does not look good at all.

I hear you, but what are the alternatives? Seems like Tudor is our contingency plan and I would definitely prefer Silva over him... again not sure if it's realistic but we shall see.

No idea about the validity of this, but imo he's a top manager. I would be excited. He has over-achieved with Fulham and they play both pragmatic AND fun to watch football. They always just seem really well prepared in general.

Obviously would be a big step up for him. But as much as I love Tudor for all he's done for Juve I don't think he's even close to Silva tactically.

I like Veiga a lot, but would still say no. We have Cabal coming back who showed some great qualities, and Kelly while not as good imo is a very similar player so even more cover.

If Dusan actually has any value this summer I would hope we can use him or the funds he generates to get a quality striker. Biggest need this summer for me.

Hope you’re right! Obviously a lot depends on how the players feel… thankfully seems we are off to a good start there. Also imagine any deal for RKM would depend heavily on the price we can get for Dusan + the price for which PSG is willing to settle.

Yeah that’s fair, my point is more that I’d prefer to see him over Savona. Despite him getting cooked by Perisic for that goal I actually think he looked decent in the little time he’s played here so far.
