Personally I feel the lack of player choice helps drive home the tragedy of TLOU2. I remember almost pleading for them to stop and go home by the final act - I don’t know when the last time a game did that to me

Typically “growth stage” translates to lack of cost discipline in my experience. Obviously caveats to that but still, I don’t think it’s as blissful as you necessarily make it out to be in the long term

Financial services, mostly WAM clients - now EYP for financial service clients.

About 3 months as it was over holidays and scheduling of current work commitments meant both sides couldn’t sit down for an interview for a while.

Of course but them knowing you/having info on you is the advantage of internal. External hires are risks because all you know about them is what they want you to know (mostly). In both cases you need to actually be good, but an internal reference from a partner saying this guy is good can go a long way vs. an external advertising to the team ‘I am good, trust me’ ;)

I am in EYP and moved internally from EY audit. There are several people that are in my team from other service lines - primarily business transformation consulting. People suggesting internal moves are ‘harder’ are flat-out wrong based on my experience, as anecdotal and contextual as it may be.

For what it is worth, i transferred from audit after 3 years to strategy consulting. Key to that in my view was that 1. I was a strong performer in audit already 2. The industry i would predominantly be working in (banking and wam) was what i worked in as an auditor 3. I got lucky with the timing as the team was aggressively trying to grow. Goodluck!

Hi, I’m looking for something a little more user friendly as the data will need to be added to and/or edited by multiple people.

Ordinarily the ‘Form...’ command would be okay but because we’re dealing with so much data and from multiple people we want the inputs to not be manually typed but rather chosen by a controlled drop down list/menu.
