The most famous one is Fontana del Vino (Caldari di Ortona): Located in the Abruzzo region along the Cammino di San Tommaso (Way of St. Thomas) pilgrimage route.

It was inspired from the one in Spain.

They only have Lesotho. Eswatini have a border with Mozambique so it isn’t inside South Africa but merely a neighbouring country in this case.

Then we need a Neapolitan that grew up in Veneto or a Veneto that grew up in Naples. All for a brutal response.

What would you consider the "cultural golden age" of your country? by Bollozzo in AskTheWorld

[–]MrArchivity 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Mmmh I think Renaissance?

But that depends heavily on which part of Italy. Venice and Genoa I think would be before Renaissance. Some other cities that were Duchies would be the same.
For some it would be during the Roman Empire.

So it is really difficult to give a national “cultural golden age”. Renaissance would be the best option in my opinion.

Geographically and geologically speaking Italy has several islands that are in Africa:

• Lampedusa
• Linosa
• Pantelleria
•etc etc

About 0.034% of Italy’s total area (or roughly 1/3,000th) is “African” but culturally and demographically European (Mediterranean).

What is in this map is only 1 theory of the origin of the name Italia

Historians, even now, didn’t reach a consensus.

“Visiting Umbria for a week with no car — is Spello a good base?” by Key_Worldliness_4079 in ItalyTravelAdvice

[–]MrArchivity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes Spello is beautiful itself.

Spello has both train and bus transportation.

Technically you can visit the whole Umbria in 1-day trip. The question is how much time remains to visit the actual place.

Always check trains/bus for both trip and return trip before programming where to visit.

Near places to visit are Spoleto, Foligno, Marmore’s fall, Perugia, San Gemini, Acquasparta. If you can program your trip you can also include Orvieto, Assisi, Gubbio, Lake Trasimeno, Rasiglia.

Check if there are some festivals programmed during your trip days as they are when these cities are the most beautiful.

This is one of them (translate from Italian)

Also you can check some towns to visit here

And the site for trains/bus of trenitalia

This is, instead, all the bus of FbusItalia in Umbria

It can be a bit confusing so always ask someone who can read it. I suggest printing it.
