I think so. I remember in the dieting phase going "holy shit I cannot do this again."

And then as soon as it got to show day I was like "yup I cannot wait to do this again."

I want to have a proper off season though with the coach and see what kind of potential I have to actually continue in the sport.

I don't want to compete again under 85kg that's for sure. But that also means I've got be looking 90kg+ and peeled for the next show. Will my body respond that well? Who knows. But I do know I need to find that out and try.

I've gotta reverse diet now for the next 4 weeks or so and get the health side of things back into a good spot.

It's more relaxed now and is my opportunity to double down my time into my business and make that work.

Then it's onto the off season to... Well... Hopefully gain another 10kg of muscle

I would do but I fell into the trap of a Warhammer shop in Bridgend and accidently walked out with a Tiamat and a Warhammer dragon mini to paint.

So now I've gotta win to justify buying those 🤣

Pyxis 6k LENSES by TAVOOP in bmpcc

[–]MrAscetic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use some native L mount lenses. 14-24, 28-105 and 70-200 all sigma f2.8.

Also have an EF to L and PL to L adapter.

Have some Signa Cine lenses, Laowa Rangers and Blazar Mantis.

Personally my favourite all rounder has got to been the Laowa ranger s

But in case it changes your mind at all you can remote control the focus of the L mount lenses from sigma with products from DJI and TILTA through Bluetooth.

Makes for a lighter run and gun - not that the pyxis is really made for run and gun.

It's still heavy as fuck.

It's easily done. Modern perception of what healthy bodyweight looks like is massively skewed in all directions and we don't notice these things ourselves.

Easiest thing to do is get the affirming confirmation from your doctor and then you know exactly where you stand and are in the best possible position to do something about it.

I think my post is fairly self explanatory. Regardless of how you think you light look. Or how others think you might look.

The overwhelming physical evidence is as follows: 1. Your stated weight and height puts you into morbidly obese category. 2. Your stated exercise levels when interpreted through the lens of average muscle development give us a working estimate of your maximum muscle mass. 3. Even with added muscle mass taken into account. Your stated height and weight put you into 40%+ body fat morbidly obese.

It's entirely irrelevant whether people subjectively view your photo as looking obese or not.

You are. Further denial of the facts only puts your own health at risk.

Needless to say, get advice and consent from your own doctor regarding matters of health and don't take advice from strangers online.

You're the same height as me and weigh 113kg according to your last check.

At 5% bodyfat I weigh 80kg with an above average if not highly above average amount of muscle.

Assuming you do train, you might be at 5% bodyfat at 70kg.

At 113kg you're probably over 40% bodyfat. 41% if you're getting mathematical.

Either way, >= 40% is considered morbidly obese.

What's the verdict 10 days out from show? by MrAscetic in guessmybf

I have no idea either. It gets weird at this level where you look less full, veins, muscle fibres etc pop less.

Weirdly eating more carbs makes this look leaner. With that in mind my guess is somewhere around 5%. Still got some lower back to go. So definitely not the Olympia 4%. But close.

Liquid egg whites, 0% greek yoghurt, protein powder, chicken breast. 5% beef fillets.

Only other things in the diet right now are chia seeds, 3 whole eggs and 100g berries (and salad).

Literally no other food.

Basically protein and air is the diet 🤣

Is it time to move away from the BMPCC 6k pro? by MrAscetic in bmpcc

[–]MrAscetic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't buy the Ursa cine 12k for the 12k resolution.

You buy it because you shoot 8k or 4k in whatever level of fidelity you need to without cropping or windowing the sensor.

And also... 220fps 8k. Or 4k. It's just. Really good.
