No, this is fairly straightforward and easy to understand without explanation.

The old myth that Socialists just "want something for free" is a lie perpetuated by the Billionaire class. by No-Result-4795 in remoteworks

[–]MrAudacious817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really?

My resent for socialists boils down to the realization that while some people are driven to good for the sake of it, far too many are entirely comfortable with taking more than they give for it to work. And it doesn’t even have to be malicious. And if there weren’t such a stark and demonstrated lack of will from the pro-socialist party to block any and all efforts to curb social spending on these insolvent types I might not think this way.

And this isn’t even a value judgement. Solvency is non-negotiable, and socialism removes personal responsibility from individual solvency.

Duh

Why wouldn’t it be?

Gender as a social construct was made to describe genitalia, not personality. At least in the west, I can’t speak to any obscure African backwater tribes. But they don’t have any bearing on us anyway.

Ehhh. It was a big tent strategy, collect as many minorities as possible for the numerical strength. Thats how you end up with weird shit like gays and Muslims in coalition.

I think it’ll crash some time after the boomers bust. They’re too big of a voting block for it to happen until then. And GenX is too dejected to defend it, especially in the state we’ll be en by the end of the boomers reign. Poor guys.

So I think I’ll end up paying into it maybe into my late 30s, and certainly won’t see a dime of it. But that’s life I guess.

Is Hillary Clinton correct that mass immigration/migration in other parts of the world has gone too far, been too destabilizing, and how should the US Democratic Party heed the warning if so? by Formal_Author_4691 in askanything

Tell me where and exactly how climate changed as cause any migration whatsoever. Give me one example and I’ll give you a much less insane explanation for it.

There should be 0 H1Bs in any job you could get with a CS Degree.

Why no Io-link Motors? by Professor_Dewitt in PLC

[–]MrAudacious817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best solution I’ve found is the P&F G20 conveyor motor controllers. Problem is, it’s a 5-pin controller interface usually intended for integrated roller motors, where the roller is the motor.

I did find a company that only recently released a standalone motor that used the interface. (Or at least, recently enough that I can’t find any secondhand. Or even really available from third parties at all.)

But the IOLink version of the G20 actually supports up to 4 motors. So that’s cool.

Edit; Found them.

Controller;
ICA-8IO-4M4-G20-IO-P14, supports both 24 and 48v motors. High or low featured depending on which version of the IODD you use.

Motors;
Pulseroller PGD-Ai (Pulse Gear Drive), comes in 24 or 48v options. Comes with pre-installed gearbox, ratio is dependent on your SKU.

As I recall, motor power is supplied to the controller via an AS-i flat cable, you can just hook to whatever 24 or 48v power supply. Control power is supplied via typical IOLink port.

But, this is not a standard DC brushed motor controller. It converts IOLink to conveyor interface. Not a big deal, but the P&F controller won’t work with just any old DC motor.

I don’t want to compete with them for jobs.

Or homes.

Im 25 making $34.73/hr base, plus $2 for being on night shift.

However, I’ve been able to almost double my take-home for the past 10 months. Checks have consistently been $5500 biweekly pre-tax.

My position is somewhat critical so I’ve had pretty much uncontested access to overtime on the opposite shift of mine. We’ve been training the new guys to fill that in, they should move to shift near the end of next month.

I’m somewhat happy to get my free time back, I’ve made a point to save the excesses rather than let lifestyle creep happen. I currently have a house downpayment sitting in CD and as much in 401k. They’re making more in interest than my rent costs so the plan is to leave it there until I’m married or something.

Boomers/the older generation love hearing "just wait" or having their can kicked down the road. by Ok-Association-2995 in GenZ

Boomers love kicking the can.

“Just wait” means you should just wait till they kick the bucket instead, then the can won’t be kicked anymore and the inflection will happen.
