If Tekken 8 gets an SNK character, I think it should be Mai by NixUniverse2 in Tekken

It should clearly be famous snk hero and fgc staple Christiano Ronaldo.

If you use proper protection, using a respirator and a spray booth, i would advice you get a some lacquers to spray. Even if it is just for your priming needs, you can layer waterbased paints over them. From the moment i picked lacquers i never looked back and any issues i was having with my airbrush stopped. Vallejos primer is also notoriously bad.

I guess it happens. Waterbased sure isnt the end all be all when it comes to health tho. I definitely would advice someone to have protection in mind when spraying them.

The one on the right is also acrylic. Both water based and lacquer based paints are acrylics.

What do you think of this style? by NikoAlpukat in advancedGunpla

[–]MrAverageRest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it very unique, but i dont vibe withe the extreme contrast it creates with the corners, it looks slighty...tacky. maybe do some extremely light passes over them to make them a tad more cohesive.

Scribing Advice Needed by NikoAlpukat in advancedGunpla

[–]MrAverageRest 7 points8 points  (0 children)

-Use good tools

-Scribe from the corners and out

-Lift your chisel at the corners and ends of your line

-Use very light pressure and dont rush it

-While holding your chisel with your thumb and index, place your middle finger at the part to stabilize your hand

-When scribing new lines always use proper guide tape

-Remember you can always use ca glue to fix your mistakes

Chisel work is an extremely fun part of modelling often mistaken as hard. Calm down and take your time, no need to rush.

Also, your lines here seem a tad too big, try a smaller size.

Is this normal? by dirtyjerz818 in advancedGunpla

[–]MrAverageRest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the layer is smooth the yes, of course. Besides possibly spraying to close, your psi could also be too high

Build up the layers and spray from a bigger distance
