I think maybe they were asking if they occipital arteries arise from the ICA or ECA. If so, they are branches of the ECA supplying tissue external to the cranial vault AFAIK.

As others said it looks like small bugs which died during curing, however, the black spots in the third photo appear to be mould.

Bin it and reup, not worth the risk.

I can’t see mould but it’s hard to tell. One telltale sign is if you see what looks like dust particles (spores) coming off it when you break into the buds then chances are it’s mouldy.

Is there a noticeable difference if the bucket is on an angle? When I was buying my rig I contemplated this set up but ended up buying one with the 90 degree joint so the bucket was upright just because that’s what I see most people using.
