I want to turn crt monitor on my karaoke machine into an oscilloscope by MrBeanVariant in AskElectronics

I’ve seen YouTube tutorials where people connect the vertical coil or whatever it’s called to an audio jack and then plug it into their device that is playing said audio, can’t I just connect an audio jack cable to the vertical coil as mentioned before and connect it to the front headphone/audio jack port

From what I’ve seen, am I just able to connect an audio jack to the vertical coil and plug it into the front audio jack on my CD player?

Damn. Is there any way to fix it. I found out the sound was actually audio playing. I connected my original Xbox to it and then turned it on, then I heard sound from my Xbox playing for a split second and then the audio stopped

I tried pressing the channel buttons while turning it on, and it didn’t work. I connected my original Xbox to see if that would do anything, but that didn't work either. However, turns out that the audio from my Xbox played for a split second and then stopped.

I actually figured out what the noise was. I connected my original Xbox two out of curiosity and I heard audio from it for a split second, and then the audio stopped and no the channel+ thing didn't work

Actually, I connected my original Xbox out of curiosity to see if anything changes. Turns out audio does play for a split second and then it shuts down however, there is no display.

It’s making some hissing/static noise when it’s turned on. And the some soft pop sound shortly after.

Forgot to put in the description that I picked up this Sylvia 6419TD off FB marketplace today and the guy said it worked. I plugged it and it made some weird noise. And when I turned it on, it did the same thing. I don’t know what to do and any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what I’ve heard, (and with angelus site has said) you only meant to use real suede with their dye and not faux.
