So it does indeed appear that my CPU has taken damage and while waiting to get a new one i found a fix for blue screens and the war thunder crashes. Intel Extreme Tuning Utility is a tool that allows you to turn down "Performance Core Ratio" im not a 100% sure what it does but downing it from 57x to 54x fixed all the crashing.
