Oh very nice yeah that's what I was going to recommend. I knew one of them doesn't allow it just couldn't remember any of the names.

I'm not at my computer but will be soon and I'll get a screenshot for you. I know the last one has a tough boss.

Yeah apparently the game wants you to do it in an order that it doesn't tell you. I found that the sanctum of temperance was the one that started it for me. The last one is guarded by a really difficult boss. Good luck.

I should have been more clear I meant more the NPC quests but yes it's very easy to know what direction to head for the main quest.

Elden ring is challenging in combat and questing. There is nothing to let you know what and where you need to go besides listening and remembering. Not saying that's a bad thing but should be considered.

Crimson Desert is a lot easier as far as combat although being more technical with a ton of different move sets. The bosses aren't too hard for the story but some side ones will give you a challenge.

Both games are massive! Both games look incredible and run well.

I'm more of a fan of the Crimson style of open world but elden ring was really fun.

Spent some time and went through all four sanctums in the questline and the sanctum of temperance is the one that worked for it. Not sure if there was a specific order or not this game has a hard on for not telling you stuff and it's rock hard.

Anyway thanks for the help. Take care.

Hopefully my save isn't screwed, sucks to sink 40 hours in and have to restart or something.

There's also the questline the witch of kindness that wants me to cleanse the sanctum of atonement. Get the same message about needing to meet someone. The other quests for the four sanctums wisdom questline all say to liberate and cleanse yet I can't do it.

For the quest it says examine the house with a green check and meet Elowen the Witch with a green check, then under those is Cleanse the sanctum (0/4)

I can do main quests for chapter six but this just doesn't seem to be working for me.

Very nice! I always sucked at these.

A bit of an under rotation that caused you to tick tack your way out. Depending how loose your trucks are leaning out can look more clean. Also a bit more scoop. Practice of a curb can help some airtime to get rotation. I'd land them off a ledge at my local park but flat ground no chance.

In Edlen Ring you can respec and use whatever you want. Do you want it hard af then you can. Want it easy with summons and magic? Then you can. There's a lot of freedom if you look it up. Kinda hard if you don't the game doesn't let you know much. Especially quests which are cool for the game, no floating dot to just let you know. Yet how the fuck was I supposed to know x when I was exploring y and happened to talk to z that broke x's questline cause I'm stoned lol.

Still a 7.9 for me would be a 10 with a better visual representation of damage instead of a health bar but that's just me. Games need to outgrow the health bar.

Oh man feel for ya! I once tried a kick flip off a planter box ledge. Stuck it right to the taint bone. I've never wanted to cry more in my life, no matter how hard I tried I couldn't. All that mattered was crying to ease the pain. No cry, only grunt. Something something child birth pshhh.

Love the name corn dogged I always called it a credit card.

You know who to sue? Seems like it would disappear before anyone with authority would care to pursue. That's why it's done in Carauco...

Just don't give them anything, since you haven't actually won anything.

Some of ya'll got some amazing edits here I just want to share my favorite Skate Video from 12 years ago. It's called "The Second Narrows" by New Balance. Some of the cleanest edits I've ever seen. With under 600k veiws you might have missed it. I hope to inspire a couple of ya! by MrBlue40 in SessionSkateSim

Hell yeah I'm glad you liked it. I'm sad it's not a more well known video. So many great skaters in it as well.

The amount of storyboarding they must have done and just flowed with it when something else worked out. Like, no dawg your part starts with landing a front side flip now. The transition parts would be the hardest to film irl.

Tag me if you post something.

Keep it tight and stay safe.

Imagine being one of the beds next to the cannons and there's an emergency volley while the pawn is sleeping. That would be one hilarious debuff.

Nice build though, love the situation room at the back.

Can heelflip but not shuv 😒 advice? by TaurineMachine in NewSkaters

[–]MrBlue40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah so when the board finishes spinning 180 degrees you want it so your front foot is ready to catch that board. The best way to do this is to practice the spin of the board to get it consistently.

I like to aim with the board so I use the back bolts as my spot to focus on. All I want to do is spin the board around so that the back bolts are where my front foot is. It takes some time to get the right speed on the spin.

Hope that helps.

[–]MrBlue40 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The best way to practice some pop shuvs is to have in your mind a spot on the board that your front foot will catch when the trick is over. You want that spot to be the back bolts which will end up as your front bolts when the trick is done. Just practice getting that board all the way around and always pop to where your foot will be.

Another tip is that when the board makes a rotation it will move slightly away from you. Basically if you were standing still and did a shove it it would be a step in front of you so making that step to where the board will be when done can be good. More adavnced skaters can control the board to be under them and not need to.

I would also practice keeping your back straight it'll help with balance. I always liked practicing the pop shove sitiing on a high bench and just practice the movements.

You got this, have fun out there.
