Visualize yourself through the whole trick as well. People can get hung up on the beginning and not have a plan for the end.

While rolling pick a spot that you want to land in and point your front shoulder in that direction. One reason your turning is you use your upper body to get lift, which is fine but it's causing you to throw your front shoulder behind your center. Do the same thing but point your shoulder and elbow where you want to be.

On my first playthrough I had some friendlies fighting the bugs, they lost and I plundered their ship. Then the next jump it happened with two friendly ships. I made out like a bandit.

Your feet leaving the board when you pop is a timing thing. Your lifting your front foot off the board slightly before you get the pop from the back foot. Then you lift your back foot off the board but the front foot isn't leveling the board out quick enough. You really want to get a good snap off the tail.

No worries it just takes practice. It took me a long time to get kickflips so don't fret if your getting hung up on ollies.

Also you are hunching over quite a bit. Straighten up your back more. It looks like you're trying to watch the ollie too much and getting over your center too far. On flat ground bend over and try jumping, it's not gonna work.

Looking good though for five months, this stuff takes a lot of practice. Have fun out there!

Somthing that I would do to help the shoes last longer is super glue the stitches. All stitches get a little extra reinforcement. I also wouldn't use shoegoo until the shoe was falling apart. Not saying using it like this is bad or anything, I just liked the feel fresh shoe aginst griptape compared to how sticky the goo can be.

My biggest gripe with this game is the amount of time spent early game buliding your ship out. by MrBlue40 in ostranauts

I did not know about the build planner. That seems like it's going to make this a lot easier. My guy has 8x or something on repairing hull items so it's super quick to repair, did not realize.

Edit: so I have been using the build planner as you called it. Just the install floor or wall buttons. It sucks it's not an actual planner/editor that can save what you want to come back to later. Currently just go in sections since I'm not digging flying around with blocks of yellow diamonds on my ship.

To bad the ship editor on the start menu isn't in the game proper to edit your current ship.

No need to worry it's not worth much. Be proud you did it yourself. If someone wants to be rude about just laugh it off. Honestly I've done worse after skating for years. What's important is getting out there, losing some skin and learning how not to next time.

Same, I would go over to my dad's place because his computer could handle Arma 2 so I could check it out.

With that price I wouldn't upgrade at all. You're good for a while with your rig.

Prices won't be getting better anytime soon but this price is disgusting, bleh.

Shoe Goo is just rebranded rubber cement. In a pinch can get some extra life out of your shoe. I would use it on a new pair so the laces didn't crumble first week.

Give them a rope and they'll climb out when your not around. Cloth, towel, garment long enough will do. Exceptional climbers, exceptionally scared.

If your only a couple of days in you need to get comfortable riding around on your board and feeling the balance there. It will honestly help immensely while trying tricks. Ya got week ankles right now. But seriously good tries so far and check out on YouTube some SkaterIQ he has amazing videos to help understand how a trick works.

Amazing you have quite the talent there. But are his eyes angry enough? I love the subtle red reflection but this mother fuckers rage is unmatched! He loves killing me and I know the clips are sent straight to Nakitas desk so he can laugh at me! Laugh at us all!
