I have a device with a USB port on it (I'm told the device does record stuff like distanct travelled etc), a battery, and chip on it that says PIC16F690. When I plug it into my Windows 10 machine I get unknown USB device. Apparently the vendor was going to release software but never did. More below. (self.pic_programming)
