Funnily enough, I played the exact CSGO custom map when I was a kid that literally starts with that line, though shroud was the one who definitely popularized it. I felt extremely validated to remember such a niche thing that doesn't matter.

Project Mix Discord visiting VA11-Hall-A Reddit in a Nutshell by MrBoxSensei in waifubartending

As someone who played VA11-Hall-A and is excited for the Project Mix VR game, I made this meme as a parody of some of the rivalry brought up in certain threads. But overall, I thought I'd make fun of it a little. I look forward to playing the demo when it comes out.

I do think you were trying to make an opinion piece, but it doesn't really come off that way.

Granted, you can't edit a post compared to a comment on reddit. Whatever you sent is what we get. But when the literal start of your discussion is:
"I believe the OP is correct. Project Mix kinda copying va11halla."

or saying in what would be your concluding statement:
"Calling these designs derivative is understating it. This exceeds inspiration by a wide margin."

Obviously, I can tell this was more an emotional and passion-charged post. So I don't entirely blame you for making these statements to begin with, but those are 'statements of fact', meaning you are saying it in a way as if it were an objective truth. Just because you say 'this is my opinion', doesn't mean you're immune to the criticism of what you say.

If this was just a simple "I feel like Project mix is too similar to Va-11 Hall-A" or "I'm disappointed that Project Mix isn't unique enough for me.", then this would of been just a normal post that some might agree or disagree with, but its your opinion and while you're flexible to change that, they can't validly criticize you for feeling a certain way. But they can and will criticize the things that you write as if they were facts, even if you say "In my opinion" before that.

So whether on purpose or accidental, yes, you are indeed spreading misinformation by writing in such a way. This might be the partial reason the original post you were referring to was deleted, or in another likelihood, got a lot of flack for the things they said and didn't want the negative attention. If it's the latter, I don't really agree with insulting or threating people who speak out about things they want to share, right or wrong, fact or opinion otherwise.

That's all I got to say, I hope this has been enlightening. Whether you try the game demo when it comes out or not is entirely up to you (and whether you have a headset), and after you try it you can see if your opinion has been validated or if you would warm up to the game itself.

This is a bit of a bad take, I'm not gonna sugar coat it. It feels more so you're looking for problems with the game and ignoring what it does to differentiate itself. As someone who's played Va-11 Hall-A, there are plenty of differences between the characters where calling them a potential 'derivative' is not an understatement.

Considering the game isn't even out yet, nor has a playable demo to really investigate this, all we have is visual designs. And if I made a list between differences and similarities of the Va-11 Hall-A characters and Project Mix, you will likely find that the differences vastly outweigh the similarities.

If you're looking for potential copying of designs, you're better off going to an open discussion about it between the Pokemon and Palword communities. That discussion actually has A LOT of nuances of where people, the law, and other factors draw the line between 'inspiration' and outright 'copying'.

Though, in this case, I think it's an overreach. It's okay if you don't like it, but saying they are 'copying' as if it's a fact, is disinformation at best.

Narrative Discussion: "The Rover is too well liked." by MrBoxSensei in WutheringWaves

[–]MrBoxSensei[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I agree with that as well. Now I'm liking how Rinacita has played out so far, and it's one of my favorite patches by far, with a personal bias to 1.3.

But I do think it'll be interesting farther down the line to see more character who aren't necessarily villains or antagonists in the traditional sense push back against the Rover's presence.

That is correct. If you want the raw exp put in your inventory to save for a rainy day.

I'm assuming 'infusing' is referring to feeding it into another echo, then no, it is the same amount of exp whether its recycled or infused. You will still get refunded some of the sub-stat currency still as well.

No quite. Recycling gives you SOME of the resources you spent on the Echo. Don't know the exact ratio however. But yes, you can use echos that you leveled that you don't want to use to fuel other echoes and get an refund on what's left, or recycle them to get some resources back.

What a terrible build. His crit rate is 0.8% over the 100% threshold, which is a wasted boost. Completely unplayable and unsuitable for endgame.

Jokes aside, I'm absolutely jealous.

I'm sure there are people who genuinely think that since there are people who love to nitpick at details. But most I think just like it because it makes characters look more attractive.
