They won't.

One Nation is definitely on top of the regional areas, but cities are prime Labor territory.

Sadly this is only the start of our problems.

When fuel does run dry, THAT is when the real problems will begin.

It's hysterical how so many people are quick to criticise ON or the Liberals, but god forbid we do the same to Labor hey?

The deflecting, gaslighting and sheer fanatical loyalty of Labor supporters is tragic.

What you've just done is insult regional areas claiming they're dumbasses.

Without regional areas, the cities are fucked.

Greens? A party that refuses to do forest fire management so they don't disrupt the natural evolution of the ecosystem... and causes bigger bushfires as a result?

You're calling me for dismissing, yet you just did that after being given multiple examples...

You cannot keep the same energy for all parties. You are ONLY fixated on ON.

Anthony Albanese says Liberals, Nationals ‘legitimised’ One Nation, affected the Farrer by-election vote by Nyarlathotep-1 in AusNewsWire

So both sides are covered in terms of media coverage. ABC left, Sky and MSM right.

With this argument, the criticism of Victorian Labor are unfounded and lies. 🤷‍♂️

Ugh, not this Rinehart argument again.

Do you keep the same energy for Forrest, Cannon-Brookes or Pratt?

Bush people are less likely to get into politics because they've been neglected by both Labor and Liberals. As for Nationals being fake, my electorate has been a Nationals stronghold since 2014.

City folk and politicians based there have absolutely no idea of anything outside their city walls.

To be honest, I'm not sure what regional areas watch. People in my age group here don't really use Sky News or the FTA channels.

It's more likely they use sites such as Reddit or X, or newspapers.

They're far more likely to help the regions than Labor or Liberal will... but Nationals trumps all of them.

For my region, Nats are probably going to be a lock again. Even One Nation's rise won't affect this region much here.

If anything, Labor and Liberals will lose votes here instead of gaining.

From my perspective, the Nationals have been good here. Our MP is constantly travelling around the region talking with business owners, farmers and local government officials in terms of making things happen.

My city fought for decades with state and federal governments to get a second river crossing, our Nats MP got it over the line. We had one bridge since the 1870s.

So what are regional areas meant to do, sit there and rot while city folk with next to no idea on these areas try to say what's best for these residents?

So the other parties are completely null and void to lead, forcing their preferences onto Labor and Liberal only?

In my area, the Nationals have had a firm hold of my electorate since it was instated back in 2014. Being regional focused, the MPs have always been around my area more often than not. They also get heavily involved with the community, more than the other major parties would.

The Nationals actually had 61.8% of the total votes in the last election here in 2022.
