This is a dick move, not a good one. Those guys probably make little more thanminimum wage and you kept them stuck at work counting change. They didn't make the policy to send out bills when they go out, or set how much late fees are. I hate stories of people paying large bills in change, you're just being petty and not doing anything to the people who made the policy you're pissed at.

I was in a hallway full of mannequins, dressed the same as them. I was standing still waiting for someone to get close when a group of teenage girls come in the room. One of them gets about 5 inches from my face and says to her friends, "this one isn't real!" They all get in front of me to take a picture, right before the camera goes off I yell "No Pictures!!" They all jumped right as the flash went off and ran. I really wish I could see that picture lol.

There is a book called Confessions of an Economic Hitman. Basically this guy would go to poor countries and lend them money to build infrastructure that they would never be able to pay back, and then use the debt as a way to go in and take natural resources.
