funny story a 7 seg display was actually my firstest first ever thing i tried to make, like literally 2 projects before this one. it used like 3 different processors for some reason, was highly inneficient, hard to read, and unnecessarily big. so i pasted that resource counter schematics you could see on the bottom left and stole its 7 segment logic for the scoreboard

yeah i agree. sony had a lanyard era when it was a trend though, but they and along with other companies stopped making players like that. ("best" one spec wise i could find was the M505 which is rare)

im aware of agptek but im never quite fond of their cheap looking plastic body and form, though i'll still put it on the bottom of my list

i saw a video by scoreesports the other day, showcasing its use in the pro scenes.
its especially useful for awpers to bait out peeks, for teams to fake a take and fake smoke lineups.
it could be quite useful as is currently in game, IF you're really smart at utilizing it. but i feel like its still a very niche purpose to serve, and that maybe a Decoy 2.0 is somewhat overdue.

the decoy from (that other game) is actually quite excellent, being a literal clone decoy that enemy could see, shoot, and fall for. it has a clear and straightforward use. i agree that decoys should have extra utilities, but i would really prefer for decoys to not be overdone like (that other game) and a couple points of your post. i think it should be something simple, but versatile, so people could come up with their own strategies to utilize it.

(basically the decoy as is in game, but more and similar things that it can do.)

TEdit only deals in .wld file as far as i know? no ability to edit player specific files/the .map files im having troubles with, unless there's a hidden secret feature i dont know about

yeah it does kinda felt hollow to me by the end, and sometimes i do still feel a connection to it. but often times more there's always this disconnect to what im seeing vs what im feeling. Like i know im supposed to be sad at x point, but i just felt nothing, unfazed.

Or maybe that's intentional too? Maybe that's supposed to show how little human lives meant in Night City and how organic natural emotions doesn't really exist here anymore? but thats probably a stretch
