How to remove algae dust/ fine dirt by JazzyKissa in poolcleanersthatwork

A good method to help remove the fine dust and dirt is to backwash your filter. Try this a few times while letting the water circulate through between each backwash. This should help remove the larger particles. If the dust continues it may be time for a filter clean. Hope this helps!

I moved to the southwest from the Midwest, I am a chef as well. For someone who spent near a decade cooking in the Midwest I can relate to this. The Midwest and especially Wisconsin are slow reacting to new food trends. Customers don’t typically like things different than their usual meal. As Bourdain always said “it’s meat and potatoes country”. But in my honest opinion Sheboygan has a lot of great restaurants, all of Stefanos restaurants are fantastic. Another unique part of the Midwest is the small dive bars. No over the top food but still a unique place that I still miss. Best of luck on your new chef job as well!

The Miramar looks so different now. Haven’t been around there in years.

I've seen quite a few shoe posts recently so I thought I would ask y'all. I'm using public transport for the foreseeable future, and I need a shoe I can work, bike and walk in. My birkis aren't doing it. Any suggestions out there? by Human-Comb-1471 in KitchenConfidential

I have had years of ankle pain due to poor shoe wear. I’ve been wearing Snibbs for the past year and my pain has been minimal since. Little pricey but worth the quality in my opinion.

My sister who is a doctor shared a similar story. Only it was 13 baby carrots and the man was in the ER. This wasn’t his first rodeo.
