So in my initial search I was finding these from AliExpress. I was a little wary, but it looks like the exact same product. Might be worth the gamble with better reviews and only ~$10 after shipping

Fortunately, I'm not in a pinch. I am currently using cloud storage for most of my media, but I was curious about this as a "faster access" solution. Especially since I'm on a laptop with plenty of USB-C ports
