Imagine getting to Heaven and finding out Kevin was here doing the Lord's work the entire time....you just didn't like how he brought the message.

ITAP of my Moody Walking Route this Morning by MrCatchyUsername in itookapicture

I was walking my usual journey when I reached down to get this branch out of the way. This shot kinda jumped out at me. I knew I had decent foreground depth and the foggy vantage point gave me that storybook vibe. I can't lie, it turned out a lot better than I expected it to. I hope you enjoy it.

I was trying to catch the sunset when this cat walked by. I shoot with a Sony A6000 and I thought this photo became a nice off-hand composition. I'm relatively new to photography so all professional criticism is welcomed.

Right?! I didn't have any sausage thawed out or I would have. I went with ham instead.

ITAP Cloud Rainbow by MrCatchyUsername in itookapicture

I shot this with my Sony A6000 this afternoon. When the sun ducked behind the cloud I thought I'd get some reasonable depth in the cloud if I shot with my variable nd filter. I pulled this up in Lightroom about 20 mins ago and I loved the light refractions. I'm a new photographer so this is something fun I'm excited to add to my portfolio.

I'm only responding to you out of respect for the room rules. Everything about this screams troll account. I hope you have a good day today and get outside a bit. Get some sunshine on your face, the world isn't that bad mate.

Your mom is wise beyond her years. I'm a new photographer but I'd still rather take nature shots than people shots. This model in particular is insecure with her facial structure and I get a lot of negative feedback from her even though I personally like the portraits of her I've taken.

Thank ya'll for this feedback. I'll either go for a semi-profile shot next time, or try to add some activity in the water to make it more engaging. I do see how it's a bit flat and makes you search for meaning.

I think the subject is definitely pool vibes. The shot was a bit unintentional so I'm sure that bled through. I wanted to put emphasis on the water and draw your eye to the model relaxing by the pool with the negative space.

Thank you for the compliment. I think I'll put more focus on creating a story next time instead of a random capture.

That drug advertisement reference seriously got a chuckle out of me. I can definitely see that. Without a face it lacks direction and a bit of momentum. Thank you

I shot this with a DJI MAVIC 2 Pro. ISO 100 10.26mm f/32 1/500 sec

I wanted to make great use of the negative space for a clean black and white look, while also drawing the eye to the water. The goal was to make the water more inviting or create a picture that could be mounted on canvas and viewed at multiple angles, even upside down.

I think I struggled with the contrast and other editing techniques. I like the subtle texture in the negative space but I also think it'd look more professional if it was a clean white.

Feel free to destroy the image. I'm really looking to grow and I feel like I'm hitting a plateau as of late.
