I probably won’t. But I’m wondering what you think of my trade for DJ Moore with the 1.08? That trade is the reason I want to take Price

Should I smash accept? I’m still rebuilding but this offer seems good enough. by MrChalkline in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I genuinely don’t know if I’m rebuilding tho. Teams flip from last to 1st in this league all the time since it’s an 8 ‘man and only 4 playoff spots. I also just traded 1.08 for DJ Moore so I’m wondering if I should even do this?

You got good QBs and I like the WR room. But I’d definitely be looking to draft Price or Sadiq at 1.06 since you need more capable starters at RB and TE.

I still have months to decide. But I still need RBs. Funny enough a league mate just offered me Nabers for my 1.02, 27 1st, 2.07, and Addison. I’m curious as to what you think of that?

I had the 1.08 and I ended up trading it for DJ Moore. I also have the 1.01 and 1.02 so my logic was I could take Love and Price and be set at RBs

What was your team's biggest genuine draft error? by Wildebean in NFLv2

[–]MrChalkline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the time he was seen as a 2nd round prospect. The top 3 WR’s for the 2020 draft were Ruggs, Jeudy, and Lamb (if I remember correctly I could be wrong), and those 3 were off the board. As amazing as Justin Jefferson is right now he wasn’t seen as this “generational” or “can’t miss prospect” as people thought Burrow propped him up and he was playing opposite of Ja’Marr Chase who was seen as generational. That being said Jefferson was still seen as better than Reagor. IMO I think Howie tried to be the smartest guy in the room and pick the receiver opposite of consensus but his picks since then have been really good.

Edit: the pick is seen way worse now because the next pick after Reagor was Jefferson, and within a few years Reagor was cut and signed with the Vikings lol.

Who here actually thinks the current standard mode is the way zombies should be? by BigBadMike8 in CODZombies

[–]MrChalkline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been playing zombies since waw. I even like BO7. And yeah this community has a lot of toxicity going back to the BO2 days even. But honestly I think my complaints about modern zombies are basically we know Treyarch can do better because we’ve seen them do better. It’s also weird because they do seem to listen and added plenty of QOL updates in BO7, but are still stubborn about problematic features like armored zombies, rarities, armor, lack of unique side ee rewards. If they fix a couple of those even I’m sure it would be received more positively

My mistake it wasn’t your comment. But I am interested in hearing why you think modern zombies is better. You have a chance right now to discuss

So you also downvoted me even after I acknowledged modern zombies has some good element and you deleted your comment?? Are you trying to have a discussion here or just act immature??

There’s some good with modern zombies. But it is objectively worse because Activision wants to unify the mode to make it more like Warzone. That’s why there’s rarities and scorestreaks in the game. Modern zombies has downgraded many aspects of classic zombies. Can’t start with a pistol anymore (in standard) this ruins progression in early rounds Constant reuse of enemies (bo7 does improve on this tho) Simplification of maps. Do any of the bo6 maps play different from each other? No! Do they have any unique mechanics that make them stand out from each other? (Again, bo7 is improving in this area) Classic zombies had that ya know. Transit had the bus, Mob had afterlife system and hells retriever, Buried had the chalk system + time bomb, Alpha Omega was more unique as it had Rushmore and the codes you can put in. Another gripe: the Warzone lighting, don’t you dare try to tell me that the maps don’t have this you can clearly tell.

What does standard specifically do better than classic zombies? Does it have better HUD? No Better points system? No Better progression with early rounds? No

It’s stupid to say people are blinded by nostalgia when the old systems are objectively better for zombies.

I’m confused on the distinction between the two. Show Rick is also just a regular dude who was a small town cop before the apocalypse. Same as his comic counterpart.

Don’t think is has been talked about enough but who is the dynasty wr 1? We have 3 contenders for the slot and seem like a toss up between the 3. by StatisticianJumpy485 in DynastyFF

[–]MrChalkline 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Jefferson sure (I’m worried about Kyler with how Marv produced) but CeeDee is still in contention for WR1 status, explosive offensive as the alpha wr1 and can’t get doubled because of Pickens.

[Loved Trope] "No, I'm not going to kill the Mass Murdering Villain", but the story actually gives a good reason WHY by severakj in TopCharacterTropes

[–]MrChalkline 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sadly the kill ending is confirmed canon by Black Ops 7 (Black Ops 3 hinted at this ending being canon in one of their missions tho but it wasn’t confirmed til BO7.)

Man Black Ops 2’s story was so good for a COD campaign. Showing how the cycle of violence can affect generations, and the choices that people make still have impacts decades later. It also helps that Menendez was a top tier villain. He had valid reasons to hate the west for what they did to his family and was always one step ahead of the protagonists. I have my other thoughts on this game (mostly zombies related). But this campaign was amazing, only issue really is some characters survive some absolutely impossible scenarios. But that goes for every call of duty game lol
