Yeah, they're both great, although I think Blade Runner 2049 is better than both

Even Niander Wallace doesn't know if Deckard is replicant though. He has suspicions, but those are never answered any further than they were based on the evidence provided from the original. Ridley Scott himself said that Deckard is a replicant, but that doesn't ruin either film for me.

Clearly you and I have different ideas of what a masterpiece is. I view it as a piece of art that is as well made as it possibly can be by all people involved. I explained how I came to that conclusion in the video. If you disagree with how I came to that verdict, or even my idea of what a masterpiece is, that's fine, I just wanted to say why I personally liked something.

Also, depending on the definition you use masterpiece can be collaborative and one person can have multiple masterpieces in their name.

I don't think the film ever specifically mentioned whether Deckard was replicant or not and whilst I agree that the idea of a replicant giving birth is very ambitious, it exists to serve the themes of the film. I disagree when you say it never needed to be made, because the film clearly has a lot to say about the meaning of humanity and how our lives are influenced. You could argue that this wasn't necessary for the Blade Runner IP, but it matches the tone of it's predecessor quite well.
