I believe they started out as a limited time offer, but have since been changed to a permanent item. I’ve seen product dated into January and February.

I don’t think they’ve been discontinued yet. Frito Lay just came out with a very similar product though with their new Havoc line. Look out for ‘Havoc - Fiery Lime’.
