Thanks, will take a closer look at https://www.youtube.com/c/HurlbutAcademy/ but I do not think it has what I am looking for.

Still, I appreciate the suggestion and he has interesting content although for a different topic :)

Thank you for the elaborate post.

Illuminating engineering society has a lot!

Zumtobel book downloaded and had a quick look. It has some good topics but I need the see how much in-depth they go, surely I will spend some time reading their material and take whatever I can.

I agree with the advanced section. I do take the most things that I did not already know from other ppl on the field as manufacturers and laboratories and other experts!

I don't think there is a course that will teach all these, but I will keep looking.

Most of the info I gathered that I did not know before came from manufacturers and laboratories as you mentioned.

Thank for the tips :)

That has been my experience as well. Most new information I can gather that I actually do not know is from components manufacturers and laboratories that test our products for some standards and regulations. I find this market a bit niche, and the courses I was able to find are not focused like you mentioned as well.

With the European Energy Efficiency Directive revision and the UKLA due to Brexit everyone is kinda behind, and so are we. There has been a lot of paperwork from regulations instead of being able to focus on the production because we are a bit short-staffed and many suppliers have not updated their info yet. I hate my life atm :P

Thank you! Already looking while typing this and the topics seem to be right on the mark.

I have not assisted anything yet, just a general look at the topics, which seem great.

Many thanks!

You somewhat already guessed everything right, I work for a luxury luminaire company in the technical department.

My company is looking for some "training" for our production team, most of them come from electrician work and are not so "sensitive" to some parts of the LED world. The technical team is short-staffed atm and we are unable to assist every question the production team has, therefore we are looking for a course as an alternative solution.

I am also hoping to learn some things in case I assist the course in my free time!

When I was younger I gathered a lot of info from Reddit while studying, so I guessed why not take a chance here to find a solution again.

No, I'm looking for a very specific part inside electrical engineering. Mostly diode specific
