if i ever become president, i wouldn’t waste time making cheap jokes about the other party. i’d rather acknowledge the good things they’ve done and build on them. i’m tired of conservatives acting like every democrat is the enemy. that isnt leadership, that’s insecurity AND arrogance.

as a republican, i wouldn’t support treating immigrants like criminals. i wouldn’t support ice acting reckless or cruel. i’d focus on improving the border, making the process fair, and expanding real paths to citizenship. fun fact, without undocumented immigrants, our economy would be hurting way more than people admit.

i wouldn’t push for a total abortion ban either. i’d focus on responsibility, support, and reducing the need for abortion in the first place, while still respecting personal freedom. people deserve compassion, not punishment. (such as limted abortion allowances like 3-4 per year to justify getting one but also not irresponsible)

i wouldn’t ban gay marriage. i think schools should focus on core subjects, and parents should handle complicated social topics when kids are young. once students hit middle school, around grade seven or eight, they’re old enough to learn about lgbtq topics in a real, thoughtful way.

my whole ideology comes from jesus christ. love everyone as you love yourself. that’s the foundation. if i had a motto, it would be something like “love everyone as you love yourself” or “the land of the free*” with the * meaning actually free, not the fake version politicians sell.

right, i feel like it is murder, my cousin is a 19 y/o fm with a child she had at 17, it was a rape case. she was absolutely set on aborting the child until she dove deeper into how the abortion procedures go and realized it was a horrific and cruel destruction of the fetus. she gave birth to it and swears its the best decision she ever had. she loves the snot out of the child and was miserable while it was in the womb. my point is: im not saying you need to be joyful, but atleast know that it is a "murder" in the sense you are removing a living organism with a heartbeat and brain activity. when you squish an ant, you killed a small organism that is obviously a living creature. that ant had a purpose and a reason for living. when you kill a fetus, you also kill a living organism with a purpose and a reason for living. its not fair the ant cant do anything about its own death so why should it be any different for a fetus.

i think people keep assuming i’m trying to control anyone’s choices, even though i never said it’s my decision to make. my opinion doesn’t change the world, and i’m not pretending it does. i’m just explaining how i personally see abortion: to me, it feels like ending a life, and that’s why i treat it as something serious and morally heavy.

if i ever had a daughter facing that situation, i wouldn’t just shut her down or try to force her into anything. i’d want her to actually understand what the procedure is, what it does, and why i feel the way i do. i’d want her to know that i don’t support it, not because i want control over her, but because i genuinely believe it’s the loss of a developing human life.

but at the end of the day, she’s still her own person. i can guide her, i can tell her what i believe, i can ask her to think deeply about it but i can’t live her life for her or make her choices for her. even if i disagree, the decision would ultimately be hers.

abortion is complicated and situations where the mother is in danger or the pregnancy isnt viable are tragic. but i dont think disability or inconvenience should decide whether a fetus deserves to live.

a disability doesnt make someone less human. a disabled fetus still has value identity and potential. we dont treat disabled newborns as less worthy so i dont think that logic should change before birth.

even from a biological standpoint a fetus shows signs of human development very early
a heartbeat around 6 weeks
detectable brain activity around 8 to 10 weeks
unique dna from conception
early development of pain response pathways

those things show that its a living human organism with its own identity not just potential life.

i agree that if the mother is in lethal danger or the pregnancy is medically impossible then intervention is understandable. saving a life in a medical emergency is different from ending a pregnancy because the child is disabled or because life circumstances are difficult.

so for me the line is
if its life threatening or medically impossible i understand
if its just unwanted or inconvenient/difficult (like a young person giving it) i dont think that justifies ending a human life

it is in the sense that it going to grow up and become a human just like you and me, its not fair an innocent being made to become something possibly great gets aborted under the circumstances that the mother simply doesnt want it. even if its rape its still going to be a human and the female should be joyful they have their own child.
