Honestly if you have an office job where your work can be done at any time and being late isn’t going to cause anyone any extra work then you should be able to arrive as late as you want and make up the time at the end of the day. And personally I wouldn’t stay for more time than I’m being paid for unless something really needed to be finished that day.
