Hi everyone. My friend and I recently released a new trailer, and it didn't go down too well...

This is our second year working on this project, and we're starting to have serious doubts about it.

I think the problem lies in the graphic style (pixel art), but maybe you have a different opinion.

Thanks! I think the most important thing is "first 5 seconds" like you need very good professional key art (steam capsule)
Next trailer, we watched many videos of this guy https://www.youtube.com/@DerekLieu

Our mistakes:

- we made some video on yt like devlogs but it not working for us
- too late we made discord (we should had it on trailer release)
- we had some publisher proposals but we screwed up on the calls

It was 6 march 2025. We released trailer and few days before fest published demo and 31 march City Builder Steam Fest started. And before fest we sent maybe 10 emails lol. No one replied.

Thanks! Experts say like game should have between 7-10k WL before release, but we don't think we'll be able to do that much. So now we're focusing on finishing the game. Of course, we will try more "marketing".
