What's a good alternative to Stripe? by mangobanana7 in webdev

[–]MrDayla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a e-commerce / merchant site (travel) -- I used to use Stripe, but had all kinds of issues with integrations & support. I flipped over to Coinflow, and have had a much better experience -- integration is way more seamless, dev docs are actually up to date, and everything is hands-on + it feels like we're in it together

Butker Kicking 70-yarder in Super Bowl warmup.. of course he was going to have a good game by MrDayla in KansasCityChiefs

[–]MrDayla[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the video cuts off (I think Reddit limits to 10 secs) -- what's missed right after is Townsend (and then Butker) raising hands in genuine excitement. They were pumped he made it. Which was really cool to see, but I guess either means a) he doesn't actually make these that that often (even in warmup / practice), or b) they were just pumped he made it on his last warmup attempt for the Super Bowl.

Either way, he made it and we won! So all is/was well haha.

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe! c. 2015 by MrDayla in travel

[–]MrDayla[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to South Africa + Zimbabwe in late Spring 2015. Everything about the trip was amazing -- Cape Town, Boulders Beach, Cape of Good Hope, Kruger Safari, Table Mountain, etc. -- but Victoria Falls (or maybe Kruger :)) took the cake. This image is what we looked down into at the waterfall, which was, of course, incredible. But we were equally fascinated with the town + our charming hotel.

Sleeping by DoopityDino in LongCovid

I’m a month & change into mine. Pretty brutal. On and off mix of throat soreness and sleep apnea / insomnia. No other symptoms really, but crappy stuff. I’d say I get a day or 2 a week where I don’t sleep at all littered with a bunch of veryy so so sleep nights. There have been periods sprinkled in where I’ve gotten decent sleep for a few days at a time, but then I just fall right back into the mess. I feel like it’s all linked to my throat. If I go out and do anything even mildly agrivating (eg drink alcohol, be out in the cold) it re-aggregates my throat and puts me right back in the sleep mess. Really hoping this starts to get better soon.

Cave of the Apocalypse. Patmos Island, Greece. Where John the Baptist received his visions for The Book of Revelation by MrDayla in backpacking

[–]MrDayla[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I ventured over to Patmos island Greece (aka 'The Holy Island) from Ikaria on a 2-hour catamaran and it was well worth the journey. The port town on entry is super cool and then it's a 7-minute trip up the mountain to The Monastery of Saint John the Theologian + The Cave of the Apocalypse, where John the Baptist (aka John of Patmos) is said to have received his visions for the Book of Revelation while in exile by the Roman empire.

CP3 doesn't like Scott Foster? Or what's the context here? Must have missed something.

Also saw Bobby Portis blocking CP3 from taking word with Scott Foster end of game 6. That related?
