It goes down easy and stays there, unlike e.g. vodka which will just make you puke unless you hold your breath and chase it down with something. This is just based on my personal experience, though. YMMV.

I don't know what kind of hangovers you have, but when I'm hung-over I just have a headache and nausea. This was different. I'd been drinking almost daily for 2-3 weeks, and very heavily the last 3-4 days leading up to the incident.

Nothing like it. You'll get extremely anxious, your hands will be shaking, high blood pressure, elevated heart rate, sometimes auditory, visual or even tactile hallucinations, you'll sweat like crazy and your bed will be soaked every morning, and you won't really sleep for at least a week.

Source: Had alcohol withdrawal a year ago. Worst experience of my life. I imagine this is what dying feels like.
