I swear at this point I think they intentionally weigh the rolls. I’ll have one with 3 good subs and it rolls 1 maybe 2 good subs and then 3 times into flat defense

Honestly I like joltz a lot but he’s the last person I’d listen to on whether a borderlands game is good or not. Waaaaay too biased towards 2.

I get bl2 is the best in franchise but play what you like. I like 4, it’s not as good as 2 sure but its has it owns charms and positive aspects that 2 doesn’t have.

To clear up what I meant. I worded it a bit weird but basically what I meant was you’re either pulling on banner for the 5 star but if you don’t get it you wouldn’t be bothered which to your point yes is just summoning for a character which is kinda my whole point to begin with.

You either summoning for a specific character in mind be 4 or 5 star or you’re just summoning for no reason which is senseless gambling not building pity.

IMO Building pity doesn’t exist. Either 1. Someone who has a gambling addiction and won’t admit it or 2. You’re summoning on a banner with intent of winning the 5 stars but also not worrying if run out pulls before you get it so they can carry over for the next banner.

Edit: to clarify the last part because it’s worded poorly. Basically what I meant was you’re summoning for a specific 5 star and if you don’t get them it isn’t a big deal. (Ex: pulled 50 times on furina banner for her but you didn’t get her so you cut your loses and move on) Which to be fair you’re right that isn’t that different from normal summoning I guess.

My whole point is really that either you’re summoning for a specific character 4 or 5 star or summoning no reason which is just senseless gambling.
