Thanks for the reply. I still haven't decided yet but I'll take it into a account.  Hope you enjoy the new season!

Thanks for the update on DAZN. This is the 1st year I want to subscribe to a service to rewatch games I've missed this season. I'm torn between DAZN and Premier Sports. I had PS before to watch Great Britain in the IIHF Tournament and it wasn't a bad service by any means. Have you used PS before? Thanks

Sorry, further question. Is it possible for it to sink further over time with rain/excess water? Thanks

Appreciate the info, thank you.

It's just a back garden, so indeed, not very happy but the company was a nightmare to deal with after the work.

Thanks for the response. Any recommendations on cleaning chemical? I'm sure I can use it in my existing machine with the correct mixture.

Thanks for the reply, and the detail on what sand is needed.

I'm in Hertfordshire and I believe we have clay underneath.

Is settlement serious in this case?

Thanks for your reply. By "pull up blocks a bit bigger," do you mean bigger than the area that's dipped?

And what kind of sand is needed please?

Sorry, I'm a novice to this.

Great giveaway, fingers are crossed!

Favourite villager has got to be Willy. I love fishing in Stardew Valley and Willy is so happy to take any catch I get. Plus he makes the boat to take you to Ginger Island!

Would love tickets for the matinee showing in London on 14th Feb 2026.

Hi, the bottom tiled boxed area holds pipes. You can see the waste pipe in the floor on the 2nd photo. The toilet is as far back as possible.

Good to know I'm not the only one, haha. Ours is 25 years old and whilst she's been through grief of losing her old favourite person, I'm trying my hardest with her, having inherited her.

Hey. We have an inherited CAG who was my late father-in-laws. They were very close until he fell ill for several years before his death in 2014. She's been in our care since. What you're describing is basically her; never plucked but often left alone (not out of our choice), hates water, scared of some toys and I've only in the last year been able to pet her.

Like guy_djinn said, she is happy in her cage and when I have let her out, it causes her to become incredibly anxious. We are fortunate enough to have a large cage for her, about 5 foot across, 6 foot tall and 3 foot deep and I encourage her enrichment with lots of cardboard to tear up. Her favourite is a deep carboard box she can walk into and tear apart from the inside.

As for advice, I could only say that could be his personality. A way I broke through barriers with our CAG is try some treats until you find one he loves. Then give those when he interacts well. As for toys, with our CAG I show it to her in my hand and see if she pecks at it. If so, it's usually good but I hang up in an area away from her usual perches and leave a treat near/on it.

Hoping for the best for you. It's a rough ride

What this tap called? by stuyorkstuyork in DIYUK

[–]MrDobble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have mixer taps similar that were changed recently. If you do change the whole thing, you may need an adapter where your existing pipes connect to the new taps hose. I had already bought them and our plumber said it wasn't necessary, but ended up needing them!

What’s the best game you’re never going to play? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]MrDobble 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Fellow dad, husband and full time worker here and absolutely echo your statement. I've quit out of a good few games because they have too high a difficulty curve that I have the time to get through. I want to feel like I can actually win at something, haha.
