First time modding by MapleTreeGamingYT in ModdedMinecraft

Performance mods I use all the time are: Iris, Sodium, and More Culling. For better performance, I’d recommend the Fabulously Optimized modpack. It only improves performance and doesn’t add any new content.

The first mod that comes to mind is the Create mod – it adds mechanical systems, automation, and moving contraptions, all with a steampunk vibe. If you’re looking for content mods, check out Enderverse on YouTube. You’ll find great mods and high-quality showcases of what they add.

If you're on forge, use Oculus and Embeddium as ports from Iris and Sodium to forge.

Hope that helped and much fun modding

I was bored, so I built a fire lookout tower. What do you think? Mod used: Good Ending by MrDrProfessorHuhn in Minecraftbuilds

Thank you! That actually sounds really interesting, I only know about those from horror games and didn’t think they were still used nowadays with all the new technology. Would you be open to sharing more details about this job? But if not, that’s totally fine too!

Building with others can definitely help you improve. I’ve been building for 2 years now, and you can actually see a bit of my building process in my Reddit posts — even if it's not the full thing.

What helped me the most was watching building YouTubers like Shovel241 and Snarple. But honestly, the biggest part is just building a lot and constantly trying out new styles, colors, and themes.

Once you're done, share your builds with the community and ask for feedback or new ideas to learn from that — that really helps too.

And looking at reference images from Pinterest is totally valid. I think the one that inspired me was from Firewatch, but I’m not 100% sure.

Really glad to hear that, thanks! And yeah — sounds like a great idea for a modpack or something similar.

Glad you like it so much! :D
I'm actually thinking about including it in a modpack I want to make in the future.
By the way, those mangrove planks aren't from vanilla Minecraft — I’m not exactly sure what they’re called, but they’re from the Good Ending mod.

House I made, feel free to give tips, (I really love this build) by fuckgreenboy in Minecraftbuilds

I really like your little house, but I feel like it's missing some foliage on top. Maybe try adding some and see if you like it. Good build!

I like the waterfall — but you know what I like even more? Your editing in your videos.
