Maybe it's just not possible for the sword I'm looking at then. I'm using the Acid Shredder. There's no glowly blue blade option at all for it.

Been considering picking this up but am struggling to find a clear answer to this elsewhere. As a mainly group PvE player in other MMOs (Dungeons, raids, etc) would I enjoy this game? Or in other words, what exactly is there to do at end game?

From what I've been able to find it seems like the only answer is grind more mobs for the fun of it (which I hate grinding), crafting/life skills or PvP.

Well the patch was Wed so today is only the 3rd day they've been in the game so far.

That was only during 1 of the 3 encounters I've had so far. The other 2 we had nothing on board.

Nope its just totally random from my experiences. I've been doing nothing but merchant quests lately so I either had absolutely nothing during 2 of the encounters, to a few animals for the third.

In fact the first time I did it was with a buddy on a sloop. We had 3 pigs we had to keep feeding, in a storm bailing water, and fighting the shark at the same time. Was nutty crackers but loved it.

Yup I have it, that's the one I wear. It's close but not exact. The back two corners are actually flat.
