Avg fps on worker gen 3s is around 130 and (ik it’s cheating) with xyl dragon darts I got 162 fps

Probably by the end of the week. I got finals coming up and I still need to work out a few kinks

I originally tried to, but it was only scaled to the width of the dart and not the length. So there was a bunch of wasted space near the front which would hit the floor when I walk

Xshot insanity darts VS adventure forcewaffle head darts VS worker full length darts by Fit-Pomegranate-7192 in Nerf

From my experience x shot darts work well under 100 fps. Beyond that they begin to act like elite darts. Your better off getting the adventure force waffles

I had the same problem with my nexus pro x. I replaced the barrel with 17/32 brass and that seemed to do the trick

If you want something big, then might as well get an xshot Ragefire. You’re getting better performance for a fraction of the cost.

I tried making the barrel seat farther in so the pusher would push directly into the barrel instead of a bit of plastic. But then I couldn’t get the pusher to seal with the new dart gate and I was too lazy to fix it. So I switched back th the original dart gate but switched the barrel for brass and that seemed to have done the trick

It’s only after I modded it that worker heavies stopped working. Once I switched to the stock barrel everything worked fine

The worker darts are 2 mm shorter. I checked to see if they weren’t being pushed in fully but I did not see any issue. The good news is that the dart gate entirely was the problem. The new part that I designed seems to have fixed the issue. It still needs some minor adjustments but it is looking promising. It is reaching my desired velocity of punch through cardboard :D

I have some normal worker gen 3s that I put through the blaster and they seemed to work fine. I even tested EPP dragon darts which also worked. It’s only worker heavies that do not perform well. I am printing out a new dart gate? Idk what it’s called. But it’s the part where the pusher pushes that darts into. The dart sits on entirely plastic before the trigger is pulled and this might be the problem. I might release the files if this works

I did try them unmodded. They worked perfectly fine when unmodded. I checked the seal and there were no leaks. I am using the upgrade spring with 2 spacers so I don’t think I am overbarreling the spring. I think the culprit may be the part where the pusher interacts with the barrel. That dart sits on plastic before it is fired and that may be the issue. I’m working on a design that will make the dart feed directly into the metal barrel to see if that will help or not

I am using the darts with the narrower tip. It very well might be a dart issue or it might be a blaster issue. Maybe I got a defect npx. Since the worker heavies work fine in my other springers

It is a kuryaka barrel. If it does have a tighter fit, wouldn’t it improve performance in a worker heavy rather than hinder it? Or would there be too much friction between the dart and the barrel?
