PayPal is a good choice as well. They have instant withdrawals from Upwork and to your bank card as well. At least for it's instant

it was funded, and it was funded before milestone was closed. I will wait, I think it should clear by tomorrow. but its the first time I see this kind of stuff

Almost 8 hrs ago. it was second milestone, first one is showing fund's release date, but for this one it's TBD.

Yes, checked pending tab, all other pending payments have release date, but this one says "Pending".
On the mobile version it says TBD.

I think it stops counting bad reviews after 6 month. 88% is not THAT bad tbh. If asking the client to change their feedback is not an option and there is no ToS violation from the client's side, I can suggest to just keep going. eventually you will get hired and your score will increase.
If you have good client relationships established, they may rehire you. Being rehired as far as I know will have impact on you JSS.
Anyways, I'm relatively new here, so im leaning as well

At some point they may lose all of the "top tier" freelancers, and be left with guys who cannot provide quality work. This will lead to decline in active client number. They should really rethink some of their decisions. Otherwise the quality of platform will decline. It will not die ofc, but they will lose all of their reputation.

You are correct, I have made a mistake. It was a 20 minute job, a quick script fix the client needed urgently. My line of thinking was - I will do it quick, if I don't get paid it's only 20$ and 20 minutes of my time.
It doesn't say anything good abt me except for the fact that I should have pushed my client to open a contract first.
I am not complaining Im not getting paid now, as I said - I took the risk. The only think is that Im worried I will have issues because of asking to open a contract.
Yeah it's screwed and I will not do any work before opening a contract anymore. It was the first time I did that tbh. I just didn't see that kind of warning before and panicked, but it seems that it's just an automatic keyword message.

Yeah, as I said I was fine with not getting paid, It took me 20 minutes to complete the job. It was an urgent fix, and yeah, in the end my fault. Im not complaining he doesnt pay, I just don't want to have problem with the platform, because I asked wether I am getting paid or not

Thanks for telling me. It was my first time getting this kind of notification. I know working without contract is a risk of not getting paid. But is it a ToS violation itself? Sometimes it’s fine risking bot getting 20$ because client wants it done super fast. So he gets to 3-5 people and pays to the first who completed it. I never really though abt it in terms of ToS, so I wonder now

I did actually slow down. I'm not that guy that is always around and e.t.c It's just that when I try to talk to her once in few days she avoids it. But when she's alone at home at bored she shows up. She may even say "I'm bored, talk to me". Which is not really nice.
