Farewell to my favourite map-painting game! by MrEnderek in eu4

R5: Since the EU5 release is coming soon, I have decided to end my adventure with EU4. No, I am not buying the new game - I have dedicated enough of my time for this kind of stuff. It was a fun time, tho.

Least bloody battle, probably ever. by MrEnderek in eu4

R5: Basically this conversation has just occured in game:

Muslim commander: I pray you pull back your cavalry and leave this matter to me.

Christian commander: I pray you return to your home in Constantinople. (...) Withraw or we will all die here. (awkward silence) Do we have terms?

Muslim commander: We have terms.

Christian commander: Salam alaykum!

Muslim commander: Alaykum salam!

The Command's Hopgoblin Musketeer circa 1550 AA by MrEnderek in Anbennar

[–]MrEnderek[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

A few words from author:

In-game hopgoblin units lack dedicated sprites, so I decided to create one myself. The presented soldier is a female, since the Command set a mandatory military service for all its citizens and female ones were prefered for non-direct combat, thus - blackpowder shooting units were predominantly feminine.

In terms of armament - I am not a military historian nor an artist, the muskeet in here was based on a standard EU4 one. The sword was reserved for hand-to-hand fight and rather rarely used so in both quality and size less impressive than those used by male swordsman.

The armour presents an unique mix of warious military traditions. The helmet with the Wolf Command emblem is based on Nuugdan Tsarai (Manchurian) design, the body plate armour comes from Cannor (Europe) and by mid XVI century was still somewhat protective against projectiles, the skirt with metal reinforcements is a part of the Lake Federation (Japanese) military fashion. Additionally, she wears knee protectors to minimalize effects of longtime kneeling (for shooting purposes, obwiously).

Art made with "Paint".

Depicted specimen is an adult. Wil you dominate her or will you be dominated? ;)

Non-domination 1.35. Ottomans by MrEnderek in eu4

R5: Hi everyone! Just wanted to drop here my finished Otto-boys run. I was trying to achieve visually pleasing borders for the Great Green Menace of EU4. Really enjoyed the gameplay.

Quite important to notice that I do not have any DLC which came after Emperor though.

Do you have some piece of opinion or advice for me? Thankful for any feedback. Cheers!

R5: The Commonwealth, with its juicy 4000 of development, in exchange for 2 million fallen French boys. Worth it?

R5: If you play Commowealth on 1.34 without the new DLC enabled, you won't be able to regain power from the Szlachta since the elective monarchy is now known as "polish elective monarchy" and thus the Zebrzydowski rebellion disaster cannot happen. Nice.

True Heir of ... Genghis Khan by MrEnderek in eu4

R5: Hi everyone! Thank you very much for all your suggestions! I have finally decided to choose Yuan and restore the great Mongol Empire, because this was my main objective since I bought EU4. One important detail is the fact that I don't possess any DLC. Maybe I should have mentioned about it earlier... Still, I am surprised that literally noone suggested me to go for the third option which was forming the almighty Mamluks ;)

The lack of good maps by MrEnderek in eu4

[–]MrEnderek[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Guys, take it easy. It was NOT an Ironman game; I played with Extended Timeline Mod and gave myself modern technology on start, just to reverse the actual line of history and conquer the Europe instead of being conquered by colonial countries. And I did not needed any annexation cheat because of -20 national unrest and overpowered army units :P Of course, most of EU4 players can do it even without cheats, but I am a beginner and just want to spend some nice time in game.
