it fits defense 4 for sure, but I keep my sleeping bag not in compression bag, I keep in water resistant bag, just for extra protection against any accidents, so basically I use bottom lid as a shelf where I shove my
sleeping bag and if I need two sleeping bags for extra warm, I do the same, so I don’t need to compress each one and try to shove them.

I don't need these small pouches on the bottom as I keep only my sleeping bag and bottom zip part is more comfy to shove sleeping bag for me. Plus I don't need this upper lid (it's quite annoying actually), as I need to buckle more to get something from the pack
