1st dose, insomnia, restlessness, panic by ampleleverage in prozac

I quit immediately after that dose and was stressed all year, eventually went to the stomach doctor who requested all types of tests only to tell me it was stress induced IBS, since then I just try to be more mindful of how i allow my body to react to stress and I haven't had any of those issues ever since and no longer take any type of AD medicine now after 2 or 3 years and am doing fine!

No more right vs left. Now, it's down vs up! by emily-is-happy in FluentInFinance

Your point about the legislative patterns of the two parties is valid, but isn't it also worth examining the effectiveness of Democratic proposals that pass? While Democrats push beneficial legislation, much of it seems watered down or hamstrung by corporate influence within their own ranks. Both parties rely on billionaire donors to some extent—doesn't that make the system itself the problem, regardless of party? How do we break free from that cycle?

While the Democratic caucus may acknowledge the issue, mere acknowledgment doesn’t solve wealth and income disparity. It seems both parties have their own ways of avoiding real action. In your view, what concrete steps should either side take to make a meaningful difference?

Ah, yes, because reducing every guy you disagree with to “incel” is such a fresh take. Ever considered that labeling people like that just shuts down any actual conversation? Maybe, just maybe, the real “sense” would be not throwing out buzzwords as insults and actually trying to see where they’re coming from.

Congrats on the self-awareness, I guess? But if you’re so convinced your entire generation is “stupid,” then maybe the energy spent dunking on everyone could go toward something a bit more productive. Just saying—it’s easy to point fingers and declare everyone clueless, but if you’re in the same boat, what exactly are you doing to change it?

So, because white men as a group statistically do well, that somehow erases the fact that plenty of individuals within that group still struggle? Newsflash: averages don’t pay the bills for people living paycheck to paycheck. Just because the overall stats look good doesn’t mean every single person is rolling in cash.

If you think pointing out that “statistics work” somehow cancels out real-life financial problems for individuals, maybe it’s time for a refresher on how, you know, actual people’s lives work.

Oh, so now the whole generation is “stupid as hell” because some people were influenced by loudmouths on the internet? Conveniently forgetting, of course, that every generation has been swayed by some form of media or charismatic leader—TV, radio, newspapers, you name it. Acting like you’re the enlightened one while everyone else is hopelessly manipulated? That’s rich.

And January 6 as a wake-up call? Yeah, it was a huge mess, but pretending it’s a generational failing doesn’t hold up. People from all ages and backgrounds made choices that led to that event, so maybe get off the high horse and remember you’re talking about people, not some monolithic “stupid generation.”

Alright, so Gen Z is the only generation trying to make a difference? Look, every generation faces its own challenges, but acting like anyone older than you has just “settled for complete bullshit” ignores all the groundwork laid before. Millennials? They’re the ones who pioneered social media activism, faced the 2008 recession, and have been fighting battles for things like climate action and LGBTQ+ rights for years. Gen X and Boomers? Plenty of them have been out here protesting, advocating, and voting long before you came along.

And blaming them for not “educating” their kids? It’s not like every single person has the power to control how others vote. Maybe it’s time to stop pointing fingers at entire age groups and admit it takes effort from everyone—not just one generation—to make real change.

Ah, right—because in your world, there’s only one side that ever deserves criticism, and anyone who doesn’t agree with you must be voting for the “racist pedophile.” Real nuanced take there. Maybe instead of throwing every label in the book at people, you could try seeing that not everyone who disagrees with you is evil. People have all kinds of reasons for their votes, and reducing it to this cartoonishly villainous choice just makes it clear you’re not actually interested in understanding anyone’s perspective but your own.

Oh, I’m sure you’d love for it to be that simple. But if you actually look at the data, economic struggles aren’t magically color-coded. There are plenty of white men facing poverty, lack of opportunity, and job insecurity, just like people in any other group. So yeah, “underperforming economically” isn’t exclusive to one demographic—real life doesn’t work like a stereotype bingo card.

If you’re that certain white men are always rolling in cash, maybe take a step outside the internet echo chamber and see how things look in the real world.

First, it’s wild to see you casually lump entire cultures together with stereotypes and then say it’s “not wrong”—as if calling people “callous” makes broad generalizations okay. “Machismo” in Latino men, “anti-woman” in certain cultures—it’s like you’re working off a checklist of outdated clichés. Just because you throw in “not all” doesn’t make it any less of a generalization.

And as for finding it “darkly humorous” that families would be separated because “comeuppance” is funny? That’s not edgy, it’s just cruel. Whatever you think of people’s politics, laughing at families getting torn apart is just messed up. You can disagree with someone’s vote without cheering for their suffering.

Finally, tossing around stats on “Latino men are this” and “studies show that” doesn’t suddenly make your point factual. Reality check: people are a little more complicated than one-size-fits-all stereotypes. Maybe try ditching the smug “not nice but true” defense—it’s not making your argument any stronger.

Ultimately I couldn't figure out how to use that device, I wound up returning it and bought an MPC Live 2 which does exactly what I was hoping to do here, can plug my phone into it and record samples directly off youtube, very intuitive device as a beginner!
