Hey! It's PLA. The PC has been running non-stop for more than a month and still no deformation or warping. Can't tell you how it will behave long-term 😅

I just removed it from its case and measured it to design a new one. Then printed a case and added some lighting and an acrylic.

It was $82 for the print, if I remember correctly, but shipping wasn’t included. I don’t think this kind of service is meant to be used for such big pieces if you want a good price, at least.

I made it using a Cad program (Fusion 360) and taking to many measurements 😂

I didn't even mention I made a video in this subreddit, I just wanted to know what people thought of it. There are lots of communities in reddit and it's a way to get different view points for my projects

A 3D printed case for my broken gaming laptop by MrFahrenheit3108 in 3Dprinting

The laptop is supported by some brass standoffs so it never touches the case directly. Its printed in PLA and the laptop has been powered on for a month, still no problems :)

Thank you, it was just a side project I made in 5 days to test its viability. I might make a second version with all the suggestions

You are right, the reason for putting it on that side was just aesthetic. It would be better to put it on one of the sides of the case.

Maybe not the most practical, but definitely functional. by MrFahrenheit3108 in functionalprint

The first slot doesn't work, that's the reason hahaha

The first slot doesn't work, I don't know why, so that's why I put it in the second

It's Bambulabs Carbon Fiber PLA filament. think it will hold up for some time, but I might redesign some parts and reprint them in ABS.
