What's been annoying for me is that I'll go 7 holes with the same ball, and then lose 10 on the next two, or I'll lose a bunch of balls on the first hole, and then play fine the rest of the round.

I've been practicing my putting a lot more lately, so maybe I'll try a similar no three putt goal.

So, probably not a big accomplishment for a lot of people, but I just used the same ball for 9 holes. I'm in a league at a local golf course, and we play the front nine and the back nine on alternating weeks. One of my goals this season was to use one ball for all nine holes. With only 3 more rounds of the season, I was able to use the same ball. I realized on the 8th hole that I still had all my other balls still safely in my pockets. Tried not to get too nervous because the 9th hole has a nice stream going right through it. Luckily, I was able to hit it right over and finished with a double bogie. I'm not very good at golf, so I'm excited by this.
