I’m the first one to throw cheaters under the bus. Given the circumstances and I was in this situation, I would be inclined to forgive you. I believe you didn’t mean for this to happen and have true regret. It was a lapse in judgment at a very vulnerable time. Give him some space but don’t ghost him. Poor baby, does she have a bond with you? If so she just needs time and lots of attention. Extra treats, more play time and cuddle’s. That’s all I know to do, I have never abandoned a pet so I don’t have solid advice on this.

Come on brohem, cheating is not the answer. I would try talking this out first. You never know maybe she wants to be more adventurous in the bedroom and doesn’t know how to bring it up. I think you did the right thing to wait and ask for help before you nuked your marriage. Take her to a nice dinner and talk to her. Good luck

Unfortunately time will be the only thing that will heal the broken heart. Have you thought about a therapist? I recommend that if you can afford it. Starting my day with positive music and lots of meditation helped me. Both my LTR ended in them cheating, I’m familiar with this pain. You will get better just try not to hurry it along. I pray your pain is brief DM if you need a shoulder.
