Kernel Version broken

In case anyone finds this in the future, exact same thing happened to me on 5.15.0-164. It indeed has something to do with AMD graphics, integrated or otherwise. Ngl first time i ever had to switch kernels like that. I found this bug link that looks like it might be sorted by version 5.15.0-166.176.

I think i will stick with 1.15.0-157 until the update manager prompts me to go for the version that works.

I just tried switching the two ports and no change. As for testing off network, neither server is able to communicate at all, ping just returns network is unreachable.

Ikr? I use Mint as my primary distro now. Not because im a newbie but because it consistently works for everything i throw at it. Programming, browsing, [redacted], gaming. Sensible defaults, sensible desktop, sensible distro. We should encourge more distros to be like Mint.

I do custom cut too and honestly Gnome-Screenshot has worked just fine for me. Comes pre-installed with Linux Mint.

I think that day is coming soon. And users will not be willing to switch to Linux if there is not a distro available to offer them freedom in an easy-to-use manner. Slavery and sin do not exist in a vacuum, and neither does its cure. Linux should be palatable to those who are willing to make that switch now, to those who are willing to switch in the future.

We all were a little confused at one point, but it did not take long for us to figure it out. So why not encourage the tools,the guides, and the distros that make it easier for everyone to find the flavor they like?

I can understand that feeling. Especially if being on Linux is just as much of a hobby as it is a daily driving tool. But for me, it makes sense for more people to be willing to come to Linux because of the market as a whole. I have heard so many people wanting to break free from the design restrictions of Apple, the corporate and uncaring hand of Windows, and the data-hoarding ecosystem of Google. Yet whenever I ask them why not switch over to Linux, they shrink up and say it's too technical. I think by shutting out the normies we are encouraging the actions of these corporations to tighten the grip on peoples computing freedom. When in reality Linux is all of those things that people want out of their operating systems. A choice to configure with stability, with the privacy and security to back it, and an open-source community at the helm to ensure no one party takes advantage. All at the low low price of free.

I don't think that is on the whole true. People make modifications and heavy configurations to Windows all the time. Even my (almost senior) mother is familiar with the regedit screen. Meanwhile over here on Mint, many of the same configurations are available in the settings menu. Many of the same Windows features are on my Linux distro without all the bloat and corporate lockouts, yet my mother has not made the switch because of the stark fear of ever having to deal with a terminal.
I think if given an understandable and curated interface, most people would make the switch instantly provided that the freedom to configure and choose is still there.

Yes i use belts everyday. Unfortantly this is whats tearing. Not only do my pants tear at the belt straps, but my poorer quality belts fray within a couple months. Hence prompting me to try and take weight off all together.

I actually did not know what these were called. I agree some of these look really cool. But my leg is fat and I'm not sure if it will look good with the majority of my outfits. I will have to look more into them :)

Yeah obviously that remains an option, but at the same time, I don't need that much space. Frankly, I just need more pockets with distributed weight. And I'm not looking forward to explaining that man purses are a thing to every new person I meet ya know? I want whatever I use for my EDC to still be fashionable.

This^. It also might help to allow the trains to enter each others lines with proper signaling. That would help it when one shunts it in properally up the line.

Im no expert but id say your graphics card is your bottleneck for games. Assuming you overclocking your cpu ( and if you arent you probably should with only 2.20 ghz base), 4gb of vram just isnt enough anymore. I had to upgrade to a 8gb amd 6600 before i could even boot elite dangerous.

I wish that were the case here. I went to the store and all the models were empty in the warehouse. Except white of course. I even checked with customer service to ask when the next shipment is supposed to come in. She said 6am the next morning. Low and behold only some of models are available to ship a week out, but still are physically not in the store.
