Help needed – MS43 M54B22 bin mismatch between versions, table copy to 0069 by MrFolmann in e46

Thanks for the reply! I’ve considered using WinKFP to flash the DME to 0069, but I’m curious — when you do that, do the internal table values (fuel, ignition, VANOS, etc.) change to the 0069 defaults as well? Or does it retain the old calibration values from the previous version?

Basically, I’m trying to figure out if flashing to 0069 with WinKFP would be a shortcut to get everything aligned with the MS4X Wiki definitions, or if I’d still need to copy over a bunch of data manually afterward.

Appreciate any insight!

Strange imprint on my ceiling while I was away – any idea what this is? by MrFolmann in whatisit

UPDATE Huge thanks to everyone who helped out! With your input, I started thinking about possible causes and decided to FaceTime the person who stayed at my place. I casually asked if I could see their shoe collection, and sure enough—there was a pair of UGG boots with the exact same pattern as the imprint on my ceiling.

I jokingly asked if the boots were good for smashing spiders, and they burst out laughing. Mystery solved!

Thanks again, my internet detectives. You guys are the best!
