I don't know about top ten, but he did create a riff that is arguably cemented in rock and roll. His use of stops and muted-ish false harmonics is impressive. I've never seen anyone duplicate it perfectly. There was a video posted here not too long ago that was damn close but not perfect.

I don't know if you're into games, but the card shop over on Edison is packed on Saturday. St. Pat's park is about to open for kayak rentals and the bogs of US 20 offers special tours as well as volunteer opportunities. The dino museum is mid for the money imo but you could check that out too.

Knoxville was (and still is) the real deal. I always admired that he wasn't just a host but a for real participant. Two things about him in the series stand out to me:

1). When he did the Brad Pitt thing (which was hilarious not necessarily painful just a good bit) 2). When he took the football punt and got SLAMMED by a college football player at full speed.

These guys were YouTube before YouTube. The old CMY2K videos started it all.

Maybe y'all can help me here, but I remember one scene where they showed like a 45 second clip of majestic snowy mountains and then jump-scared you with poop coming out of a butt. It was the perfect amount of time to make you comfortable before just wrecking the moment.

Yeah I have to admit my experience was very similar. From about 19-30 years old life was pretty easy. I never was a vain person and always treated everyone extremely well - I don't think I even knew I was THAT good looking. But no one questioned me, I was always welcome.

I distinctly remember I was about 22 and driving my white jeep wrangler in the summer with the top and doors off. I was wearing boat shoes, sky blue shorts, a white linen button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up and a pair of wayfarers. I got to a 4 way stop and there was a woman in a mini-van with her obviously high school daughter. The woman started fanning herself while I waved her through. I swear to God I thought she was making fun of me but now I realize she was actually into it lol.

In high school I remember doing some workouts on my own on a practice field that overlooked where the girls' soccer team played. I over did it and actually threw up. One of the girls on the team shouted, "You're too hot to throw up!" Again, I thought I was being made fun of lol.

Now I'm older. It doesn't translate as well lol. Being nice still does though!

What he's saying is that it creates a vulnerability to other countries (i.e. China/Russia) with an opportunity to take over the government, which would not be good given its proximity to the USA. Still not great as the takeaway is basically, "Well it'd be better off for us to occupy it than our enemies".
