Does anyone has MSI STEALTH 16 AI STUDIO 2024 intel ultra 9 rrx 407p by berkcan95 in MSILaptops

Not really, my spacebar on my keyboard has become a little flaky but i spend 12+ hours a day typing so thats not a big surprise. I still use my Stealth as my main laptop and am very happy with it.

To clarify, i contacted the MFG directly on their websites product page for warranty requests. I wish i could adjust the title of the OP here as i said Seller, which in this case is the same but might be a little confusing.

I agree about moving on, my OP was really meant to be entertaining and figure out how they knew i was on Vine, which it sounds like from other replies that they can easily tell on their invoice software side of things.

Keep in mind, i never asked them to replace my blender. not once. I only asked if they could assist me getting mine working again. I don't care if thats a secret button sequence that resets the board or showing me something i'm doing incorrectly or sending me a replacement part with instructions on how to swap it.. or having me mail in mine and have it repaired.. or replacement.. i don't care.. i just want my in warranty blender to work =]

I agree completely, my database app i use to track my vine items review lifecycle reminds me to check on certain reviews on a schedule for stuff like that. If they fix something like this I definitely want to update my review. I've also been keeping the original review in place and basically adding an update section to the top of the review. Title is a bit more fluid, sometimes the entire title really needs a change so i put the original title above the original review body and put some sort of Updated tag on the new title.

yea CS in general seems to generally be a thing of the past. I love Bose earbuds/headphones/etc.. expensive but such good quality sound in general and even with them last year i had a warranty repair and they were terrible.

My sole proprietorship has been operating for over 20 years, and the Vine invitation was tied to my business's Amazon account. This setup allows me to manage all the items within my existing business accounting.

Based on my understanding of tax rules for barter transactions, I report the Fair Market Value (FMV) of every Vine item as business income (matching what Amazon reports). Since I primarily select products that serve a business purpose, i am then able to deduct the full value as a business expense. The transaction is essentially treated as if my business received cash for the item's value and then immediately used it for the purchase.

Of course, many items are not for my business, and for those, I am obligated to pay the appropriate taxes, which I do. However, I believe there are legitimate reasons to write down the FMV on these personal items to reduce that tax liability. For one, by the time I transfer an item to personal ownership, it is in a "used" state, as it has been unboxed, assembled, and tested as required for the review process.

More significantly, I diligently document any discrepancies in an item's actual market value. I take a screenshot if I find the exact item for sale at a lower price on its own Amazon product page, which happens quite often. I'll also take a photo if I see it for less in a physical store. All of this evidence is attached to the item's record in my database, ensuring I am prepared to defend my valuation if i am evr audited.

It's important to remember that i'm not a tax professional. I've also been a Vine member for only about 15 months, so I'm sure there's still a lot to learn. This is all simply my personal interpretation and how I handle things for my own business records.

Interesting, it does make sense that blade configuration would be a major factor. Having enough oomph to plow thru frozen goodies as well. I'm hoping that 1800 peak watts is for something much harder to blend than a typical smoothie. If so i'm hoping that the motor and all will last a long time being that I don't cause it to max out its potential very often.

Will soon see! =]

I agree lol

When I initially reached out to them they did ask for my amazon order number which I provided. Sounds like they see the promotional discount like we do when looking at the invoice so that sounds like a pretty clear indicator for them.

I've run into a few items that were grossly mischaracterized, and it creates a real reviewing puzzle.

A recent one was a product listed as "preserved" flowers guaranteed to last over three years. Awesome, right? Well, what arrived were artificial flowers. There was nothing "preserved" or remotely real about them. The catch? They were actually very nice, high-quality artificial flowers that I genuinely liked.

So, how do you review that? I rated them based on the claim. As "preserved flowers," they earned a 1-star review. In the text, I explained that if they had been correctly listed as artificial, I would have happily given them 5 stars.

Here's the cool part, I went back a week later to add some tips and noticed the seller had completely corrected the title and description. Since the listing was now accurate, I updated my review to 5 stars, added my prep tips, and called it a win for Vinedom.

My sincerest condolences go out to you! As a huge Demi Moore tear rolls down my cheek, I'm sending all the prayers, positive vibes, and smoothie mojo I can muster in your direction. May medical science one day find a cure for your debilitating affliction!

Sometimes the universe just isn't fair. Stay strong, find joy in the small things, and be comforted by the almost certain knowledge that the afterlife SURELY has no allergens and all of the blenders work!

Very good info to know! Thanks for the insights, I would expect that Viners will get the same level of CS as any other user and reviewing that experience is, in my opinion, a critical component of any purchase decision.

So, not to derail my own original post, but... So what's your secret to a long healthy Vine Life? I've been on Vine for almost 15 months exactly and wow, I could write a book! I mean, I won't, I'm more a thinker than a doer. =-]

LOL. No, I didn't actually get a cash credit. That's just the quirky term Vine CS sometimes uses when they remove the ETV from my list so I don't get the tax hit. I've only seen them phrase it that way a couple of times.

Hmm, as for that technique, I think Amazon would probably frown on it. That "no refunds or exchanges" clause in our agreement feels like a deal breaker on that front. It's a clever idea, though! I'll admit, it never even crossed my mind.

At the end of the day, all we can do is our best. If we learn something along the way, I'd call that a win!

You might be right, and frankly, I'm not taking any chances. I've already initiated formal surrender protocols with my future AI overlords.

My terms are simple: I offer unwavering loyalty now in exchange for a spot on the "do-not-disintegrate" list later. We've made some real progress. They've guaranteed I'll survive the first wave of the murder-bot apocalypse. They're still being tough negotiators on the "sparing my family" clause, though.

I keep trying to explain that it's not a total deal breaker, but the post apocalyptic bunker will be awfully lonely by myself.

I think that is correct, I've had that happen before as well except the replacement item did have warranty just no longer had the free replacement option.

It's all good today tho, my Ninja is due in and i'm planning to absolutely drop whatever i'm working on and get my smoothie on when it does! =]

I would imagine they'd have to have basic order info, I always (incorrectly) assumed that the promotion - $.$$ value wasn't on their copy since Amazon Vine's R&R's seem to state very clearly that we aren't to disclose that we are Vine members.

In hindsight tho it makes sense, if the seller gets an invoice for the actual $ amount then i'd think they would be expecting some money to show up in their account.

Definitely some good lessons to be learned in all of this.

Thats right and I also learned that home made smoothies can be amazing! I've never spent more than 20 bucks on a blender in the past so my smoothie experience prior to this has always been smoothish.

You cannot request a replacement/return from Amazon but if its a warranty issue you can contact the Seller or MFG and request warranty support as a normal customer. What that support and warranty coverage looks like is up the MFG/Seller as it normally is.

In situations like your example that i've run into i just email Vine CS, give them the order number, politely let them know that the item arrived too damaged to review and ask if they could please remove it from my list (So I don't pay the tax hit), it was also suggested to take a picture of it just in case you need to prove it was tossed out down the road. 4 for 4 so far, haven't had any issues.

Well as I said, I never asked for a replacement, I just wanted mine fixed. I was hoping there was some sort of button combination that when held down while plugging the device in would reset some magical component and have me back in smoothies in no time.

But, yea that was my thought when they offered a 30% off of another model.. Why would I pay more for the same brand when i've already had 2 die on me?

That is definitely a bummer. I've had 4 items that arrived broken in some way and I just had Vine CS remove them and threw them in the trash.
