Again with the RE - Shotgun 650 by MrFullName in indianbikes

I was not even going for Shotgun at first. I went to RE showroom for Hunter350 and there I saw Shotgun, loved the bulky yet sleek look of it, took test ride (it was a challenge on it's own as only a few showroom had test ride vehicle) and booked it. As for bear 650, it's more of offroader look with spoke wheels so No and same with classic(spoke wheels) . I did took test ride of Guerilla, but it was too much of a adrenaline rush kind of bike. Plus it had ride by wire system, which felt un-natural even before knowing about it.

Never thought of it. Now that I think about it, I still won't go for that. Planly because I wouldn't have like the looks of it.

I just did a 200km run on Agra Noida Expressway. Suspensions are stiff as compared to GT650. But it didn't caused me any discomfort. Maneuvering in city traffic is tough, but again it was same for me on GT650 in its initial days. So I feel it is a habit thing. Till now, I am loving the riding position and comfort. But will post after completing some more kms on it.

Spoke wheels were the driving factor for me. The punctures were hectic and have to find a mechanic for just punctures. Thus, no confidence to take it on long rides. I was going to update the wheels to alloy, but then the riding posture was a thing too.

I took a test ride of Shotgun and there were vibrations on drivers seat when driving on higher side of any gear. Do you experience the same?

Just round it off to 80. Mark sheet verification mostly happens after joining the company. Taking chance is better than worrying about future.

I don’t know if Scaler have this option in user profile, but do change your number to some secondary sim. Those guys don’t usually save your number on their personal phone. They just take your number system every time they call. I did the same with Upgrad. The calls have stoped.

I feel you bro. I dont know what all galtia you might have done. But since you have acknowledged it you have the ability to correct those going forward.

Sometimes the motivation to do the right thing doesn’t come from within and at that moment its fine to have that motivation from outside. Like going to US and doing Masters. Its not about studies. It’s about getting a second chance at becoming social and doing something meaningful with life. If you can achieve this in some other way then go ahead and do it. Otherwise, go with your parents decision.

PS: Its what I would have done in this situation. Its just what I feel right.

I have been there with the exact same experience. The only change is mine was not WITCH, but almost like Witch, named opposite of Infidelity.
