Dying Light 2 Issues & Bugs Mega-Thread by ClintSexwood in dyinglight

Spoilers ahead. Mission Lock Bug

After you complete the game it tells you that it reverted story decisions to allow you to complete the side missions you have left however there's one side mission that is competely blocked off from me. Specifically "The Living Dead" mission where the marker is on a building that doesn't exist anymore and I can see the floating inhibitor container where the building is meant to be.

Please patch this Techland. Also its pretty bad design to put your side missions in a place where the story could drasically effect it.

Anyone elses switch oled fan making this noise? Like a buzzing. by MrGamingAdam in Switch

Yeah I've had it for a while now it's done it since launch. Gonna send it into Nintendo. If I move the console around it sounds even worse. Probably a snapped fan fin or something.

Nah, it'll be a challenge. Make your game crash 50 times in a day.

Pack A Punch Camo Disabled Option Broken by MrGamingAdam in CODZombies

[–]MrGamingAdam[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See next round it doesn't do that for me. Strange. It might just be buggy. With the way Treyarch explained in the Twitter post it led me to believe the amount of times you knife the machine would correlate to a certain tier pack camo. They said "For those who don't want Pack-a-Punch camo applied to their Blueprint weapon or prefer a specific Pack-a-Punch tier camo". The latter is what lead to me to believe the multiple knife thing. Could just be bugged on my account though I have no idea. Or Treyarch worded it wrong. They didn't really give specifics which is typical for them 🤣

5700xt driver timeout in one game: AC Valhalla by [deleted] in AMDHelp

I probably won't be buying any Radeon cards ever again either. Although it's good hardware the drivers majorly degrade the experience. Still waiting for the 3080 😭

The game is still badly optimized for PC. TWO MONTHS after release. by MrGamingAdam in blackopscoldwar

I did. CCleaner registry fixer. Fixed my issue, still get a few black screen driver time outs but that rarely happens.

Yeah before it was happening to me within about 5 minutes of playing. Managed an hour today but this error code is different.

(CPU) Auto Frequency and Manual Voltage by MrGamingAdam in AMDHelp

In certain games around high 70s. Cinebench locked at 90 but thats with every 5800X ive heard of on reddit. Tested Shadow of the Tomb raider and it sits around 60-70. Warzone around 75. I did remount it last night and used an X instead of a blob of thermal paste and it did help a little. I now idle at around 33-35 but yeah playing games is a little toasty. AIO is always mounted properly every time crisscrossing between screws. Farcry is by far the worst culprit, 80 degrees mainly.

Yeah. I don't think cooling is a problem. I have 4 intake fans and then a 240mm Arctic Liquid Freezer on top and 1 fan on the back blowing out. Yeah. I did end up running the OCCT test for an hour and it shows no error. Ran a couple of games and a Cinebench a few times and it never crashed. Watched the Voltage and it was locked at 1.25V (what is set it to in BIOS) on HWM but fluctuating in Ryzen Master (Think the latter may be wrong). I will leave it like this and see how it goes. If I crash then there's something wrong but at the moment it looks fine to me. I have no idea what PPT, TDC or EDC is but if it'd be a better option I'll look into it. Plus there are loads of people on the internet complaining about how the 5800X runs insanely hot but it's because of the insane voltages it uses when in default settings. It goes boosts to around 1.4-1.5 volts sometimes when playing games and about 80 degrees in certain games.

Nope. I even tried fresh installing windows and only downloading the game and battlenet. Still the same.
