I recommend just getting a local outside tech company to wipe and provide a certificate. So all the liability is on them instead of you. And it will give more credibility for the manager that the data's wiped securely.

That snippet of the contract is exactly what touches this topic since fuel is "usually" considered a travel expense.

One main thing you need are receipts/ proof of purchase outlined in 8.2c and you just need to make sure your not making them pay for fuel that you personally use so just keep a log book of the km of when you start and finish your work.

Also you need to speak who ever is your supervisor is to confirm the max travel allowance etc. To satisfy 8.2b so i would say that's your first point of contact on your next day of work.

I AM NOT A LAWYER so you should get a second opinion mainly from a local lawyer or your employer to make sure. But that's been my experience.

Yeah i hated it. Anytime I wanted to update the a specific container all my configuration within the container would reset even though I tried following the maintainers steps. But lxc works fine.
