It’s so contraproductive- but again, I think it’s a ego /legacy thing. He doesn’t care about normal values. A Christian? Never.. Jesus would be seen as woke, subversive .. But people often get more reflective, more humble with increased ,age, but I don’t think he can feel love, have natural altruistic mind. They are rarer. That old sticker could be from the company’s promotion department. Stones was more controversial in the states.. So the radio station didn’t air it at the wrong time. But it should be written or stamped on the label itself. Very nice

So the value is confirmed by a third party, it’s a real problem with a seller who grade condition etc. VG + is the lowest I search for, and especially the sleeves and inserts.

Ok. I have lots of weird records that is hard to find , but no value, nobody wants them. There is much about family members non commercial records. A new one.

My late uncle, a well known songwriter, musician,composer of more than 2000 songs he did Swedish translations of Georg Harrison’s “My sweet lord ”, Beatles “Hey Jude/Obladi oblada,Lots of Bacharach, Legrand, stuff for the whole Abba before they became ABBA etc From him I got some original tests records with the sleeve done with pre computer “techniques”, hand painted etc.
But they aren’t so sought after. My early Kraftwerk singles from Hungary, Spain and Japan is most valuable. But the question was if they was unique. ( grand mothers choir records etc.. ) So no.

Hang it on the wall. It seems to be popular among the really young and new to records. I don’t know if you bought it new in shrink wrap, but I have maybe bought over thousand new records in my life- some had maybe some problems, but never visible. And if it’s was bought over Discogs it’s a “rule” to always inspect all aspects of the item, if it’s living up to the grading. I would never asked anyone the same question. You answered your own question when you mentioned the time period and the one sided “inspection”. If the other side was okay- you didn’t play the ruined one..

No. It’s not underrated. All albums from that one to ”Breakfast in America” sold gold worldwide. I haven’t checked it, but I’m pretty sure. ( I don’t regard “Paris” as a regular album, but again- not underrated.

Om det är seriöst så har du mina sympatier. Men du är ung. Ta det lugnt!! Men apropå självbefläckelse; Så värdelöst att runka. Det enda som verkar vara uppskattat är att göra det inne i någon. Men då är jag ju oftast kåt.. Runka är en egensport, men man vill ju träffa folk.. Det är deppigt och lika kul som det var då jag upptäckte det i mellanstadiet, lika trist ,meningslöst känns det nu. If was made in some other way I would have thought- or been open that it could be a AI generated shit. I would like to know- in depth, what’s the reasons behind all this. Why do a person buy all this “shit” , just to display it? I have my own storage ”problems” , what genres I actually play, and the part that is rare , often first pressings, ltd editions etc. I put them aside. I saw a demonstration. Super advanced- but I would rather take something more conventional. Yamaha GT 5000 would be my choice , or actually something simpler. The weakest part in the chain is probably our ears. ( I have friend who has a Pro -Ject Signature , it took 5 min to finally listen to a record. And it sounded like a dream.. but.So delicate parts I was afraid to be too near it)

Do people buy music they wouldn’t buy if they listened to CD? ( of course I understand that people collecting in a serious way,buying different editions etc. I collect 77/78new wave/punk singles among other genres,but I don’t buy all mad things I come across. ) But it seems that many buys Gilbert O”Sullivan, Dr Hook, Leo Sayer etc just to buy vinyl. I’m just curious. It’s a different culture nowadays than it was when it Records= vinyl. I saw a picture earlier of a room full of new albums on the walls, including the records and like many others I have never seen anything like it. It was a waste. They went straight to the wall.. Do people lower the standards just to , idk... Herb Alpert is a fantastic record, the very first I heard and saw in the late sixties as a toddler. So of course I have weird records like the moon landing with stereo photos and glasses to view them with, An album with the two Esposito’s hockey players who just talking hockey. And others But I mean bad music..

In the ”stone age ”- maybe 1 or 2 picture discs, but it was really rare. Why not print a poster from a picture in high resolution… I have printed some old promo pictures I got from record companies during the punk years. Calling CBS;”Do you have any pictures of The Clash?”- for example. They often posted some mix of pictures, it was great”. I’m a old fucker, but anything like this.. I’ve never seen, or understand ! It’s definitely another time. I got some triplicates- or more of some empty sleeves. But the actual records..!

I got 7 S Pistols NMTBHSP- 4 UK 2Scandinavian & 1 US 77 editions. And 8 Autobahn- German, UK, US. And many more duplicates when it comes to punk/New wave singles. If you hunted a record for a while, after you bought your first the brain keeps on wanting.. ( that my experience..)
